The National Ankylosing Spondylitis Society (NASS) provides support, education and information about managing AS. Members include people with AS, their families and friends as well as the professionals working with them.
It publishes a newsletter, a guidebook for parents and it produces a DVD of a daily programme of physiotherapy exercises. There are self-help branch organisations around the country providing regular supervised physiotherapy.
