Our vision is a world without barriers for every deaf child. The National Deaf Children’s Society has a wide range of information and resources for deaf children, young people and families. From first diagnosis and being deaf friendly, to parenting and family life. You can find out more about education and learning, language and communication, products and technology, and your rights.

The National Deaf Children’s Society is a charity which can provide a range of services to its members, including expert advice, family support, events and activities, and equipment loans.

The National Deaf Children’s Society has a Freephone Helpline, which can also be reached via Live Chat, Text, and Video Relay Service.

Opening times

Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Catchment area

The National Deaf Children’s Society supports deaf children, young people and families in the UK. Our website and online resources can be accessed by deaf children, young people and families overseas.

Deaf Children, young people, and their families. Professionals who work with deaf children, young people and families.

Referral method

Self-referral by contacting the Helpline.  And third party referral, a form is available to download from our website.
