About

The Newbury Community Resource Centre runs a number of projects aimed at helping disadvantaged people in West Berkshire and North Hampshire, including two furniture projects, a horticultural therapy and environmental education centre and the Training and Community Support Project (TCS).

TCS is based in Newbury, Berkshire, and offers supported volunteering and training opportunities for adults and young people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health issues. We provide a friendly, supportive environment where service users can gain new skills and become more confident and independent.

TCS is a Registered UK Learning Provider with staff members who are fully qualified in training and assessment. We have a training kitchen and a number of workshops, where service users can take part in carpentry, electrical repair, bicycle repair and ‘upcycling’ furniture.
