Sexual assault referral centres offer medical, practical and emotional support to anyone who has been sexually assaulted or raped. They have specially trained pediatrician / Forensic Nurse Examiners (FNE) and support workers to care for you.

The paediatric SARC at the Rainbow Centre is available for all children under the age of 16 from across Merseyside who have experienced sexual abuse (recent or non-recent).  The Rainbow Centre is staffed by dedicated paediatricians, paediatric nurses and other staff who provide medical examinations of children and young people (acute and non-acute) following sexual assault.
