About

Viking Transport offers its members a social car/Book a Ride scheme, for residents within the district of Maldon and its environs, who for a variety of reasons cannot access public or private transport. They also offer a minibus hire scheme for local not-for-profit organisations.

Office hours: 9am - 2pm Monday - Friday (answer machine out of these hours)

Access

All Viking vehicles are fully accessible and fitted with rear tail lifts. At present no escorts can be provided by Viking and where necessary must be provided by the registered individual or organisation. Registered Escorts travel free.

Maldon District plus its environs

Target group

Any eligible resident or not for profit group in Maldon District or its environs. All individuals or groups must register with Viking before transport can be provided.

Referral method

Self referral is usual, however, we will accept referrals from agencies or relations/friends of individuals. Name, address and phone number of the person or the person who can act on their behalf is required. Basic reasons as to why they cannot access public or private transport would be helpful.
