About

Kent Young Carers provides support to children and young people aged 5-18 years old who are caring for a family member with a long-term illness, disability, mental health issue, or substance misuse.

Kent Young Carers provide confidence building activities including trips out, Chill Clubs, group work, information days, awareness raising, schools work, Young Carers forums and consultations.

Opening times

Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (with additional evening and weekend activties).

We do not have a centre, we use local community centres.

Catchment area

County Wide Service.

Referral method

Young Carers can be referred by a parent/carer. There is a referral form and assessment.
