WIWC is a registered charity working to improve the quality of life of Elders. We have particular interest in the needs of Caribbean Elders living in our local community area of Reading.

The WIWC is commonly referred to as the Circle: A name that remembers how the organisation started. Meetings were held around a circular table in the kitchen of one of the founding members.

Over the years the Circle has supported thousands of individuals with issues from health, housing, legal, welfare, arranging social occasions and community celebrations and linking the community together with news, information, support, encouragement and opportunity.
