  1. Review titled Friendly

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This GP is very good. Since joining, I have noticed doctors, nurses and receptionists are all very friendly and welcoming. The nurse I saw most recently was extremely knowledgeable and put my worries at ease. She made going to the GP stress free.

  2. Review titled Good care from Practice Nurses but not from Physiotherapist.

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Patrick Lunan - Posted on 10 March 2025

I am recovering from minor surgery and am a frequent patient receiving care for regular redressing of wounds but today (10/3/25) I was down for an initial appointment with a physiotherapist at 1100hrs. I arrived at the Practice car park at 1103hrs but it was full with no spaces available. I am a blue badge holder but the two vehicles in the disabled spaces were not displaying any badges. I therefore had to park in a nearby street and walk back to the Practice. I then arrived at the automated Pod for checking in at 1111hrs but was refused this service with a message referring me to the reception. I tried to explain my unique circumstances but was told the physiotherapist has moved on with their appointment schedule and I will be treated as ‘Late’ and would have to rebook. I was furious as I am often at the practice and have waited for periods up to over an hour to be seen so to be denied an appointment for trying to check in one minute after the 10 minutes allowed for late arrivees was infuriating especially having made so much effort to attend and keep the appointment. It felt as if the physiotherapist was more focused on freeing their appointment schedule rather than showing discretion and slotting me in. It was to have been my first appointment with a physiotherapist and I was very disappointed as I am 60 and suffering with neuropathy and made a huge effort to be seen.

I attended a diabetes yearly review clinic. Nurse demonstrated exemplary behaviour knowledge and I felt valued. Every thing was explained clearly, with dignity. and professional conduct. Medication reviewed and side effects explained. Always with a smile. Thank you so much.

  4. Review titled Great nurses

I had my smear test today and am always nervous as I've had many surgeries in this area. The nurse was so caring explaining everything as she went along and wanted to make it as pain free as possible due to my history. I can honestly say it was the most painless smear test I've ever had.

  5. Review titled Great service

Today I was in having my smear test and mentioned that previously I found the equipment uncomfortable - the Practise Nurse offered an alternative size option which made the whole thing 10x better with hardly any discomfort at all

  6. Review titled Great for teaching future Doctors

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Seen by a medical student who was supported by a surgery GP. Both were very engaging and explained their thoughts. Really great that the practice takes the time to help train future Doctors to keep the NHS moving forward.

I was well attended to by the Nurse at the surgery. She took her time to explain what my issue is, what I need to do to ensure that the situation is remedied. I was satisfied with the way she attended to me.
