I had cause to see a senior nurse specialist yesterday, (12 Mar)as I had been having trouble with my breathing. Being asthmatic it can be difficult to differentiate between it being my asthma or something else. Having had a PE before the nurse said I should go to A&E. Thank goodness I did as it was found I have two at the top of my lungs. If the nurse hadn't sent me I hate to think what could of happened as I hadn't had the sharp pain on breathing like a did before, shortness of breath was my only symptom.

Can't thank the team at Great Oakley Medical Centre today for securing an appointment for me at a time where I'm unable to call personally. Receiving confirmation from one of the doctors by text is hugely appreciated. Thank you to the reception team, the doctor who messaged confirmation back, and the doctor I saw late this afternoon.

The nurse really helped my daughter receive her injections feeling warm, cared for, safe, comfortable, unscared as she was extremely nervous

I am so grateful that I was able to see this GP when I felt so poorly . He was so professional and thorough in his examination. Exceptionally knowledgeable and he talked me through his clinical reasoning for the decision he made He spent more time with me than the allocated appointment times . The care he gave was exceptional. I can’t thank him enough for what he did and how he prevented me from becoming very ill. I would like to thank everyone at the surgery as every contact and appointment has always been very positive

My experience this morning with a very kind doctor, was one of a positive experience. They evidently understood with empathy and expert knowledge on the area of concern - helping putting my mind at ease. Sometimes that showing of understanding goes a very long way for the patient. The individual was very smiley, welcoming and approachable at all times from arrival to departure. I feel this individual must be an asset to the team at Great Oakley. This is my first time leaving a review, and my experience was so impactful that I wanted to share the positivity - thank you

I phoned today at 10:35am with a raging UTI that I had tested myself. I was given an appointment to be seen within 20mins and prescribed antibiotics. Got straight through when I called and the receptionist was lovely and proactive. Such a great Surgery - Thankyou.

I’m chronically ill, with confusing symptoms rising from pituitary gland deficiencies and other underlying problems. My recent experience of multiple consultant reviews across various specialisms, with associated scans and tests, was extremely confusing, but the whole practice staff have been forever patient & supportive. This morning I queried the purpose of yet another scan, but immediately got a full, clear response describing all the effort going on in the background to make sure I’m receiving the right care. I was impressed that the staff were so ‘on the ball’. It’s a great relief to have this kind of support.

Best GP practice experience, efficient, well managed, kind and professional staff, even after being 49th on the line today I received all the care I needed. There is an automated feature to wait for a call back, which works so well, no longer need to stay on the line waiting and can do other things whilst waiting. The nurse has been excellent (I cannot remember the name) and the GP was so professional, caring and listening. Not to mention receptionists, as the faces of the surgery, very polite and kind. Very happy and thankful patient here.

I have just had a consultation with a Physiotherapist on the 6th of June 2024 at 14.50 and I was treated with such care, such great professional and person center support and guidance all trough out. Thank you

The receptionist l spoke to for an appointment was amazing and understanding, she was compassionate to my needs. The g.p was considerate and listened to my concerns and actioned the issues in a respectful, thoughtful and caring manner. The whole process was very thorough. I believe that I could not have had any better care or communication anywhere,private or nhs
