    This was the 4th surgery I have had at Woodthorpe in the last 4 years. As always the professionalism and kindness of all the staff was amazing. I have to also mention all of the catering staff, they were so helpful and caring, at all times they had a smile on their face and nothing was too much for them. Thank you for another wonderful stay at what I like to call "My yearly spa visit"

    I was in pain since 2023 now after surgery in January 16th 2025 at Woodthorpe Hospital Nottingham I am pain free after my Herina operation. Now I am on the recovery path for 6 weeks no more heavy lifting. The hospital is clean and the operation went smothly. All the staff are very friendly and efficient and they all address you as "Sir". The whole operation took place from 12 o'clock midday and I was travelling home again at 7.30 pm. Would recommend it if you need herina surgery .

    I recently had a short stay at the Woodthorpe Hospital, Sherwood Nottm. This was a positive experience. The staff were very friendly & attentive, from the reception desk to the nurses and doctors. My doctor, took the time to thoroughly explain my diagnosis and treatment options, which made me feel well informed and at ease.

    I had knee surgery at the Ramsey Health,Woodthorpe Hospital, Nottingham on 5.01.2025. The treatment I received from the surgeon and his team was to the highest standard. I would like to thank the nurse who cared for me. The anaesthetist team and staff in the recovery department and the surgeon. All were extremely professional and informative and made my brief stay at the hospital a pleasant experience. I would also like to thank the pre op team and reception team for their caring and professionalism. The hospital is pristinely clean the facilities are second to none. I had a beautiful room. I was given all the information relating to my recovery at home and received a reassuring telephone call from a nurse the day after my procedure. What a great hospital amazing staff. Thanks to you all.

    My operation and the help and guidance were great at the time of the knee replacement operation the only problem was there were no after care, I even had to phone Woodthorpe so I could get physio therapy and that was after 4 weeks of not hearing anything, I'm getting physio now, Another thing is it's been two months since my operation and I thought they would of got in touch to see how I'm progressing but nothing

    I had my knee replacement surgery in October 2024. On the day, I had everything explained to me as to what would happen from having the anaesthetic to the operation itself. All this helped put me at ease. Following the operation, the physiotherapy I had at the hospital and the following 6 months has been of the highest order, all of which has helped me to walk again without pain.

    I had a knee replacement on 15/09/2024 following surgery I was left in urine bed sheets for several hours with the excuse they were short staffed. I pressed my buzzer as needed to go to the toilet no one came. I had to wet myself very degrading and my splint sheets and bandages were wet through. There were signs everywhere to press the buzzer to get out of bed I did this and got told off for not getting out of bed. I was in so much pain I was screaming still no one came. I envelope tried to telephone the ward several times from my mobile no answer. I was eventually prescribed additional pain relief from the doctor but the nurse wouldn’t give it to me even though it was on my record signed by the doctor. Then came the physio who gave me a booklet went through it once, walked me in and down the ward and up and down the stairs once and told me I was fit to go home (they appeared too busy getting ready for the next days operations). Finally I got my follow up appointment which should be after 6 weeks to tell me I’m fit to drive and work etc I received a letter with a telephone consultation for 10th January 2025. To be honest if you get a chance to have your surgery done somewhere else I would take the opportunity. There was a definite lack of empathy and the care was horrendous I felt like I was at a meat market would not recommend this hospital.

    It is almost impossible to contact the hospital by phone. Again today,I kept calling and being put on hold. The call drops out after 12 minutes. It is not a one off! I would advise try calling the hospital before you chose this hospital for any procedure

    Tried to contact this hospital by phone, email and form on website regarding patient’s operation it's impossible. Phoned two days ago and was told I would receive a call back have had no response. No reply to email sent yesterday either. Had been told to contact them regarding test results they requested
