I would like to praise all the staff of the Maple Suite at Stepping Hill Hospital who looked after me during my visit on the 9/1/2025 in the afternoon for what could have been difficult visit for my self, I found all the staff particularly the clinician who caried out the biopsy excellent, compassionate, and very professional, these staff do credit to your hospital

I recently had to go for an emergency C-Section at stepping hill. I can’t thank the staff enough for the professionalism, positive attitude, care and support I received. From the delivery midwives, surgeons, anaesthetists and all the mat ward staff everyone was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for me and I am extremely grateful. I wanted to breast feed but I was struggling expressing and the midwives helped so much in teaching me techniques. I can’t recommend Stepping Hill enough as a hospital to give birth in. Thank you everyone!

I visited the A&E on Tuesday 7th January at Stepping Hill hospital after calling 111 and was from the outset made to feel that they cared about me and wanted to help I was not in my home town but at my daughters house and was suffering from Sciatic and foot and leg numbness and pain They were very busy but all the staff were so chatty positive and helpful I would like to give a particular shout out to an female A&E doctor she was so informative and made sure I was clear on what I needed to do to get better and so personable at the same what a lovely person a credit to the NHS and I left feeling a lot more confident on how to self treat my issue I hope she can get some recognition for this A big Thankyou to her and all the staff on duty Well done

Shout out to the two terrific ambulance drivers who were so kind and helpful. And to all the staff of the emergency services at the hospital - they are all without exception brilliant!

I am so blown away by the care I received during my birth and post care at stepping hill. All the ladies I met were so incredibly kind, knowledgable, approachable and made the world of a difference to mine and my baby’s start. From the midwife during my birth and the two ladies on the ward after, I’m not sure I’d be where I am with my confidence with my baby, it felt like private 121 care on the ward the whole time I was there and I just thought everyone was incredible at their jobs and allowed me to be really open with my struggles to get all the help I needed. My husband and I will be eternally grateful to them all. My clinic midwife has also been incredible and I love going to my appointments with her, extremely knowledgable, reassuring and always giving me freedom to make my own informed decisions. Thank you so much.

Today I had to attend the A&E department and I would like to thank all the staff for their care and professionalism. The A&E department was very busy. I witnessed a member of staff defuse a situation with an abusive patient when his partner/parent didn’t intervene. Again this was in a stern yet very professional way.

My mother-in-law unfortunately fell on new year’s eve and we took her to the A&E unit. It was very busy but she was managed within 2.15 hours. We were greeted at reception by a very professional and welcoming member of staff; we went through a triage assessment and then sometime later saw a doctor who was very thorough in his examination, very polite and professional and dealt with my mother-in-law in a very kind way. To have this sort of service on new year’s eve when there is a huge demand, due to flu and all-round pressures, was just amazing. Thank you so much to all the staff involved. Hopefully this review can contribute to the doctor's annual review

After having difficulty getting the right treatment for cellulitis in my eye, the staff at the eye clinic at Stepping hill were fantastic. They were kind, caring, listened to my concerns and carried out lots of tests to check my diagnosis was correct. I felt they went above and beyond to ensure I got the care I needed. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

Thank you all so much for your kindness today. All the staff that looked after me were kind and professional despite working in a stressful environment. From receptionists to clinical staff, I was so impressed. Well Done.

I went to D6 last week 15/10/24. The team were amazing - the nurses were courteous, jolly, helpful and professional the surgeon and his team were exactly the same absolutely A1 and cannot praise them highly enough.
