  1. Review titled Great team in Cardiology

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mrs Helen McEntire - Posted on 10 October 2024

I was blown away with how happy, friendly and smiley every person I saw in the outpatients was today. While I was waiting to see my consultant I overheard other patients being welcomed and spoken to. It was such a joy to hear the respect and care in the staff voices and to see and hear patients laughing and smiling as they left. Warmed my heart. Well done to a fantastic team. Thank you so much.

The two ladies taking blood at the Malvern Centre today were fab, they were busy, but remained professional, happy, personable and happy! I just wanted to say thank you to you both and just to let you know you are appreciated :)

  3. Review titled Epsom Hospital ultrasound department

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Elizabeth kently - Posted on 10 September 2024

I visited Epsom Hospital yesterday 9th September 2024 at 16.20 for an ultrasound soft tissue scan. It took about three weeks to get an appointment and then about two weeks wait for the appointment. On arrival I was seen earlier than the time expected. Totally brilliant service. Very efficient too, the radiologist doctor, his assistant and the admin assistant were totally professional and extremely pleasant. An extremely well-oiled set up. I expected to wait a week or two for the result but my GP texted me the result in the evening, less than 2 hours after the scan! Well done Epsom and well done the Tattenham Health centre.

  4. Review titled St Helier A&E visit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 September 2024

Had a smooth speedy visit through A&E at the weekend. Seen promptly by a super friendly nurse. X-ray completed in minutes, a quick call to an orthopedic consultant to double-check X-ray then treated and on the way home just over an hour. The only downside, seeing a lot of people in beds parked in the corridors.

  5. Review titled Frustrating stay

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Steve - Posted on 12 September 2024

I was admitted to Epsom hospital by ambulance with a suspected heart attack. From the start, every member of the working staff I encountered were amazing and matched or exceeded anything I would have expected. However, the management system of their new Boarding Policy is an absolute shambles to say the very least. Over a 3 day period (I am still in hospital) I have been sat in a chair, in corridors and corners of wards with no bed, for more hours than I have actually had a bed. I don't understand the system fully but moral between the real workers appears low because the system isn't working and they know it, although their diplomatic attitude won't allow this to be known....I am expecting this review not to be shown, so I will copy and paste it on other platforms as the real hero's of the nhs, the staff whom we meet when admitted, are taking the criticism for the appalling system, when it is genuinely out of their hands. It's such a shame that producing paper based statistics has taken priority over real performance. Well done to all the doctors, nurses, porters and shop floor workers I met.....shame on the ones that hide in their offices making ridiculous decisions!!

  6. Review titled Dermatology Department

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was referred to Dermatology at St Hellier hospital by a Dr at Wallington. I met with the Dermatology team at St Helier who quickly diagnosed my issues he prescribed Efudex cream which resolved one of those issues he referred me to Dr M at the Interface clinic who administered the surgery I required. I can honestly say the treatment I received from the NHS was second to none what a Wonderfull team you are to have dealt with my issues in such a caring, efficient and professional way. Special thanks to Dr M for his surgery professionalism.

Went to A&E with a dislocated finger. Receptionist could clearly see the issue and had me x-rayed immediately. Nurse practitioner extremely helpful and pushed it back into place. Able to leave within the hour. Fabulous service.

  9. Review titled Exceptional care

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Chris - Posted on 06 September 2024

I would like to congratulate the staff and hospital for the simply amazing experience that I had for an operation Friday Aug 30th. Everything from initial reception, pre op care, the op itself, and post op care on Oaks ward were exceptional. The staff were all warm, welcoming and very professional. I couldn’t have asked for better treatment even if I had gone private. The anaesthetist was superb as was the exceptionally skilled surgeon. I cannot believe I could have an operation and not suffer any recovery pains at all. Early days but the wound is excellent t and recovering well. Post op recovery was excellent at ward level. Thank you to the day and night sisters in charge and all your staff. The cleanliness of the hospital was 5*. The food and catering options and menu choices were excellent. Apparently I cannot leave a review with specific names on otherwise it will not be posted. So I will have to write to the Chief Exec to give specific staff credit that they deserve. I am extremely grateful for the care and think the NHS should receive credit where it is due. Thank you to all. Greatly appreciated to have received such good care. I know from speaking to other patients that they all had similar feelings and experiences to mine. Exceptional. :-)))

I had a blood test today at Sutton Hospital. I don’t know the ladies name but she was on her own when I had my test at 11.50 am. She was very efficient and for once never felt a thing and she left no sign. Excellent
