  1. Review titled Wonderful staff on Gynecology ward

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Rebecca Brown - Posted on 12 September 2022

I have been admitted to gynecology ward on a few occasions over the last two years. The most recent being a week ago. I must say I am incredibly grateful to the staff on that ward. They are so kind and so caring and made me feel so comfortable in their care. I felt as if I was the only patient they had to care for (it was very busy last time and I certainly wasn’t the only patient). The staff there do their utmost to make patients comfortable and they genuinely care about their patients when their patients well being. They are all an absolute testament to the trust and I shall be sending them a thankyou card very soon.

  2. Review titled Great experience overall

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I’d developed an unknown allergy and went to the Accident and emergency. They took my vitals, gave me some meds to alleviate the condition and everything was done within minutes. I was asked to wait to get checked up but had to leave on my own after a few hours because I was feeling drowsy from the medication. I would like to emphasise that the wait isn’t an issue as usually there’s a wait time of 3-4 hours and they deal with cases based on severity. I was feeling all right so I left but can’t complain about the level of care and treatment the practice offers even when overwhelmed with multiple emergencies. A big thank you to everyone in the practice.

  4. Review titled Awful experience!

Rated 1 star out of 5

Where do I start? I am a cdh1 cancer patient . I have been going to guys hospital for over a year as I already had my stomach removed at st Thomas I was now going to guys for my breast. I had my surgery booked for 28/08/2022 . For it to be cancelled on the 27/08/2022 my family had booked time of work to help me with my children. I am only 25 years old I have been on this cancer journey for 2 years. I’ve never had so many excuses from doctors in my life . After constantly ringing guys hospital and making complaints I finally got another surgery date for the 19/10/2022 for it to be cancelled on the 17/10/2022 . They are now trying to refer me to a different hospital so the breast clinic does not have to take responsibility on the way they have treated me . I’ve never been so upset in my life I feel completely mistreated

  5. Review titled So Grateful!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Mel Taylor - Posted on 09 September 2022

I had foot surgery 2021 and again in 2022 performed by the same surgeons. Doctors, nurses and all care staff were amazing. Surgeons were very professional yet caring, informative and completely approachable throughout the process. All follow up appointments were given well in advance and after care details explained thoroughly. I am, honestly, so grateful to the individuals and the NHS for allowing me to walk painfree again, not to mention the aesthetic side of things. I fluff my feathers when I speak of the NHS. Thank you!

It is completely unacceptable that I have been trying to get a hold of appointment team on phone for 2 days now waiting for more that an hour. Every time I call they end the line after an hour of wait. How am I to change my appointment?

Had a MRI at 8am at guys explained to the lady about me having panic attacks previously. She took me round and her and a male colleague helped me out of wheelchair onto bed and settled me in. They were friendly and checked on me to make sure I was OK. When I came out 2 the same man n another male colleague was there. They helped me onto my wheelchair and chatted to me. They were so friendly and reassuring

  8. Review titled Wonderfull team!!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Robert B - Posted on 11 July 2022

Recently my Uncle was admitted to the hospital with heart problems and we were advised to expect the worse. He subsequently passed away but from the first contact through to talking to the bereavement team everyone on the team have been amazing. The nurses and doctors all treated him with great respect and make me also feel very comfortable. No question or request was too much trouble and the administration follow up has been outstanding. A truly great team and all a huge credit to the hospital.
