    Routine appointment with the colonoscopy team today. Very friendly caring and understanding team. Put me at ease and really showed they care. Can’t praise them enough. Thank you

    Attended X-ray CT unit for a scan with contrast. Was very nervous as I am fragile and suffer limited mobility. I was extremely well treated and was extended the utmost care and consideration during my visit. Would like to be able to single out the individuals concerned, but I understand that this is not permitted under the review rules.

    My wife was sent to AE at 9 pm on 20th mar 2023 . She had suspected blood clot . I drove not wishing to burden the ambulance service . We arrived at 9.50 that evening to a totally packed AE . The security guard stop me sitting with my wife yet at least 50% of the space was taken up by family and carers . He even singled me out shouting . Totally unprofessional, Barely literate power hungry . My wife than spent all evening and th r following morning till 9am with no communication accept from one of the then exiting consultants who after she asked how long having already waited 10 hours was shouted at , this is the way it is and that she would now be made to wait . At 9am she was transferred a different ward and I write this on the 21st Mar still at the hospital. If she had got a blood clot …….

    As I was fast tracked to me seen I was delighted to receive an appointment within nine days of the referral, in fact I was given the choice of a Saturday or Sunday. I was taken at the exact time of my appointment, it was an extremely busy clinic with two consultants and one plastic surgeon along with several nurses giving their time at a weekend. Formerly my husband had had two fast track appointments and each time he was seen amazingly quickly. In this day and age so often the NHS is criticised but I can only give praise.

    30 Dec diagnosedBowel Cancer At Kidderminster General Hospital. Surgery , reconnection at Worcester Royal on 15. 3. 23 with planned stoma reconstruction soonest. Discharged 20.3.23 Every professional I met at both Hospitals were kind, caring and apparently solely dedicated to my well being. I commend them all without reservation The food at Worcester was universally accepted as being awful.

    I am coming to the end of a tough regime of radiotherapy lasting more than two months. The technology used to treat me is very impressive but it was the staff who made the difference. Hard working, kind, compassionate and highly skilled are just the first few ways I would like to describe them. They are nice people working hard to save people's lives and to whom I am indebted. Thank you team for all you have done for me.

    We attended a busy A&E at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch on a Saturday evening, 25 February. We received great care and consideration from the hospital staff even though we were there for 10 hours. I was impressed that during my consultation, the doctor phoned an ophthalmic specialist at a Birmingham Hospital to get advice. He was very thorough. The triage was swift and thorough. The receptionist on duty that evening and into Sunday morning was so patient with everyone who came in and dealt with repeated questions from patients as to how much longer before they would be seen. We would have thanked her as we left at 5 am but she was not at her post for what seemed like the only time during our stay! I know the seating in the waiting room is functional but is there any way it could be made more comfortable. The chairs are so upright it is difficult to relax in them and get a bit of shut eye! Well done to all the staff, and the toilets were very clean too. Thank you

    From the moment I entered the A & E department I was put at ease. The receptionist, triage nurse, doctor, nurses and other staff were all friendly, respectful, polite and happy. I was kept fully informed of what was happening throughout my visit. I would like to pass on a big ‘thank you’ to everyone that dealt with me during my time in A & E.
