Review titled Very rude receptionist
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 30 October 2024
Visited 11:45 29Oct. Had appointment for diabetic eye clinic. On coming downstairs to level 1 didn’t see sign to clinic so asked at reception desk. We then had the misfortune to speak to the rudest, sarcastic receptionist we’d ever come across. (The sign for anyone’s future reference is in yellow near the ceiling) she virtually called us both blind and kept repeating you should see it, if we had seen it, we wouldn’t have bothered asking! The receptionist’s people skills could do with retraining. Bearing in mind the stress patients go through when visiting any medical facilities. We’re both pensioners & feel should be given some respect Not sarcasm! Perhaps the receptionist shouldn’t be working in a caring environment if she can’t at least be polite.

Review titled Inadequate, reduced disabled parking
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 14 October 2024
As a wheelchair user, with non- driving carer, I was appalled to find a huge reduction to 3 disabled parking bays - for a “ health centre”! Clearly a money-making exercise to increase revenue. Steep access slopes make it impossible for frail or elderly to propel wheelchairs to find suitably accessible bays. Previously, disabled access was a renowned and appreciated feature here. Can some compassion instead of greed be displayed please?

Review titled Good service
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 17 October 2024
2nd visit of the week to the health center, this time we came in a Tuesday afternoon for a walk in X ray, again we had to ask reception for details on were to go, the lovely two ladies on reception were extremely helpful & cheerful, the X ray was a bit of a wait but done very professionally. On way out the lovely two ladies said goodbye to us. As an older couple who don't always get out it meant a lot to be spoken too with respect, well done ladies.

Review titled Outstanding walk in care service 2-6pm
Rated 5 stars out of 5

I cannot recommend this service enough at this surgery. My 2 year old was poorly with high fever and the two nurses and a paramedic made great effort to comfort my little one. She was seen to fairly quickly and was given liquids and medication to bring down her temperature, all whilst keeping a professional manor and great humour. I can't remember their names but they know who they are. Thank you very much!

Review titled Quick visit
Rated 4 stars out of 5

Had to go Aldershot centre for health for a booked in blood test, car park was already busy at 9 am, asked at main reception for details as hadn't been here before, the young girl at reception was very unhelpful, more interested in her phone then talking to us, even though there was a queue waiting. The Irish lady was extremely helpful & smiling, even though she was probably stressed from doing everything. If we come again I will go straight to her. Many thanks for all your help.

Review titled Appalling
Rated 1 star out of 5

The attitude I received from the woman working behind the reception in the outpatient level 1 was disgusting. Purposefully rude and dismissive. Disgusting way to treat people who have come in for medical care. Don’t do the job if you don’t want to care and help people. Absolutely appalling. Wish I had got her name so that I could make a formal complaint about her.

Review titled Really great experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Niamh - Posted on 06 September 2024
I attended the Aldershot sexual health clinic to get the contraceptive implant for the first time. Every member of staff I saw, were kind and helpful. I was extremely nervous for the whole process but the nurses were all so lovely with me and it helped my nerves so much. I would 100% recommend others to this clinic if they needed any sexual health treatment. I really appreciate all the staff and their kindness during my visit!

Over an hour, and counting, trying to phone through, as per the website's instructions either results in a constant busy tone and being cut off or selecting one of the options and being, you guessed it - cut off How on Earth do you make an appointment at this practice????

Review titled Nice Staff Terrible Parking
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Andrew Bamford - Posted on 07 May 2024
Sadly like Frimley Park Hsp the parking at Aldershot Centre for Health is causing allot of stress for patients & Hospital staff. The staff have to hear the complaints all day from patients the poor receptionist said she gets complaints all the time and looked quite stressed out as for the patients who some understandably are not very well, it's something they should not have to endure. To cap it all I was charged 60p for driving in then out as there were no spaces but thought it better to check if I was in danger of a fine so I put my details in the one of 2 parking machines and then had to resort to parking in the nearby estate which is not welcome. So basically the parking is not fit for purpose and something should be done about it for the sake of everyone & I don't think you need allot more parking spaces maybe another 20 if possible.
