The place is in a converted shop, the reception staff were sort of helpful. The First Lady “health professional “ that I saw had a script that she could not deviate from, from the very beginning I had zero confidence in the process. It seems that you need to go through a series of not very skilled people before you reach the skilled person. I had so little confidence that I left after a short time. If this is the future of the privatised nhs then god help us.

From booking in to leaving, staff kept me informed, were kind and friendly. Surgery was prompt and swift.

I had Cataracts in both eyes and received appointments for both eyes very quickly. The clinic is run very efficiently and the staff from the Receptionists to the surgeon were very professional and my eyesight has improved enormously.

The clinic is well set up and seems to be efficient. However. I was disappointed by the manner of the technician who administered my eye scan: she was brusque and peremptory to the point of rudeness. It's a great shame that one person with a bad attitude can undermine the good work of her colleagues and the organisation.

From the receptionist right through to the surgeons, they were all great. The staff were welcoming and very helpful, and made me at ease from the very start. Overall the eye procedure I had done was very positive, and would recommend 'Chec'.

Staff very friendly, put me at ease. Operation very quick and painless. Cannot praise the practice enough. From initial appointment to second eye, only took seven weeks. Excellent service from start to end.
