    My cataract surgery was painful and left my eye and cheek badly bruised. I felt as though the surgeon was in a hurry to get through his list and leave. I had been very pleased with the the treatment by the other staff and was disappointed they were let down by the surgeon. My eye took 4 weeks to heal and for the bruises to go. I will not be using your centre for my other cataract treatment and would advise potential customers to check out the surgeon before using your services. The idea of using clinics for cataract surgery is very good, but possibly you are trying to fit in too many people which leads to rushed and careless treatment.

    Dear D Parren, Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction following your contact with CHEC. We wish to assure you that our surgeons always take the necessary time and care with each patient to ensure their surgery is carried out appropriately, we apologise if you felt this not to be the case during your procedure and can confirm we have fed back to all our clinical staff around the importance of ensuring a patient is comfortable and not experiencing pain during their procedure. We do ask patients to make the surgical team aware if they are experiencing pain so that additional anaesthetic can be administered, again we sincerely apologise if this was not clearly communicated to you. We are pleased to see from your records that there were no complications during your procedure and hope that your vision has now improved.
