    Fantastic service from start to finish. No question was left unanswered Reception couldn't have been more welcoming. Everyone was helpful and everything was dealt with in a timely manner.

  2. Review titled Misled in to thinking that surgery would be done that day

    For some unknown reason the doctor decided that I should not have surgery that day. The appointment letter mentions dilating of pupils and that I should not dive afterwards, so my wife drove me from my home in Tring expecting me to have had cataract surgery immediately as I had on my first appointment at Stoke Mandeville a few years ago. Your receptionist was very helpful but also mystified and consulted colleagues but was only able to provide another date. The result has been a waste of yours and our valuable time, an addition to traffic congestion and unnecessary use of expensive car fuel.

We can confirm we have reviewed your appointment letter which confirms it was for an ophthalmology appointment and not a surgical procedure, we apologies for any misunderstanding.     My 92 year old Mother attended for laser surgery recently. Our experience was very good from reception to Doctor. My Mother was dealt with in a very timely manner and everything was made very easy. Her results have been fantastic, thank you

    Booking team amazing, understanding and caring. Reception welcoming, there was little waiting time to make an appointment. Left after operation feeling informed, as to what happens next. I went during Covid, and felt very safe. Recommended my brother went to have his eyes done, and very pleased that my brother is coming to CHEC.

    I would recommend Chec to all my friends and family. The Chec staff at the Watford clinic are all extremely kind and helpful. The only problem I have is the app for Chec keeps sending me messages and letters even after i have booked my appointments.
