  1. Review titled Very Very poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by R Humphries - Posted on 30 October 2024

If you are referred by your doctor to Circle Msk, try everything possible to get another option. I have been near bed ridden since March 2024 and had 3 out of 4 issues upheld. Circle Msk seem to paractice tea and sympathey but in all other things with my case they have been inept and do not listen to the recomendations of their staff. My appointmet on 30/10 has been move rto 20/11 and so I am looking towards another month of being bedridden. I have been to A+E when not being able to walk but this appears to have fallen on deaf ears. I have contact with their "issues" departments and they, like all the rest appear to offer lip service but nothing else. Be very very wary when your doctor says Circle Msk to you.....

After leaving a 5 star review, I am disappointed that the physio i was seeing has lied to me. Told me i would be seeing a consultant after a supposedly MDT meeting in a few weeks.....Wrong , my appt to see Consultant is in Dec 2025 !!. I have attempted to speak or see this physio with no result. No way would i now recommend this service i feel it is just ticking boxes.

  3. Review titled It's like you go into A&E for a broken leg but the doctor wants to sort fix the blackhead on your nose instead!

by Anonymous - Posted on 11 August 2024

Referred to MSK. They "outsourced" to Parks Therapy for physio without having seen me. MSK then send me an assessment form for my "neck condition" (I have a neck condition but that was irrelevant to what I needed to be seen for). Went to the physio appointment and all they kept focussing on was my neck despite me repeatedly saying what the issue actually was and which joints it was affecting. A three year old would have been able to point out the relevant body parts but physio seemed unable to! Was given neck exercises to do (which would not have helped my issue at all). Funny thing is, they failed to check that I was even able to do these exercises, if they had checked they would have fund out that due to disability, I would not have been able to perform them, especially the ones standing up right leaning up and onto the wall! When the second appointment came around, I wasn't even asked if I had done or even attempted any of the exercises but they still focussed on my neck and I still reiterated what I was supposed to be there for. Are these people actually qualified? If they are, they clearly have absolutely no listening skills whatsoever. That second appointment, like the first was a complete farce. It ended with me being told that the needed to discharge me. Well surprise, surprise, the fact that I haven't got any problems with my neck and that is what they wanted to focus on, not my actual problems, that was enough. It honestly felt the same as if I had gone into A&E with a broken leg but the doctor wants to focus on a blackhead instead. The condition I have gone in to see you about it not the condition you want to focus on. The condition which will render me immobile has more of an impact than something that is completely irrelevant. Perhaps MSK should actually listen to their patients or look at a body map prior to seeing their patients.

  4. Review titled Atrocious service being passed off as nhs care

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 June 2024

Shocking, atrocious service being passed off as NHS care. My referrals have been stuck in the system for months. I get no help from circle or my gp. Circle have a call centre number. I have tried calling five times and have been stuck in the queue for over an hour. When a human does pick up the call they hang up you without even bothering to speak to you. I cannot afford private healthcare. NHS care is the only option I have. I am left suffering in terrible pain.

  5. Review titled If it wasn't shocking it would be hilarious!

Rated 3 stars out of 5

My GP referred me as I have had a problem with my shoulder for years. While waiting for an appointment to be seen by MSK, an appointment with podiatry came through. No idea why or who had requested a podiatry appointment but I went along to it. Neither the podiatrist nor I knew why I was there - I don't have any concerns with my feet etc. While the podiatrist was lovely, attended an appointment for unknown reasons was a complete waste of my time and expense getting there etc. But it transpired MSK referred me to it - laughable to say the least when I have a shoulder issue and they had not even taken a look at my shoulder. So the NHS seems to like wasting NHS money, time and resources referring people to departments they don't even need to go to and still to this day I have not actually been seen by MSK about my shoulder.

  7. Review titled Dusappointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had a good experience ending in November 2023. This time I was shown 4 exercises which I do at my exercise class. given a sheet of exercises and told to go home. When I mentioned my tingling feet it was just ignored. This was at Park centre in St Neots the same place and physiotherapist I had successfully seen before.

  8. Review titled Positive appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anne McReynolds - Posted on 18 February 2024

Having read the mainly negative reviews i really didn't want to go to this service. However the physio i saw was excellent, clearly passionate about his job and very informative. He examined me in far more detail than 2 GPs and surgery physio did. I left that appointment feeling "at last someone knows what they are talking about " he listened to what i had to say and gave rationales for investigations. He said he will contact me when he sees the report of the imaging i had taken and make a plan going forward.

  9. Review titled No Deaf Awareness

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 16 November 2023

Asked to phone to book an appointment. phoned, had to leave a voice mail. I was phoning on behalf of a profoundly deaf patient who cannot use the phone and cannot accept returned phone calls. no other means of contact given. Absolutely ridoculous.

  10. Review titled Wrong body part

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Linda Hodge - Posted on 31 October 2023

GP referred me for the second time following right knee injury, which was not getting better. There was no improvement following first visit. My GP felt that I needed an MRI scan. I was sent an email referring to my right ‘elbow’. I emailed back and said that it was my right knee and not elbow. I received an email apologising and saying the wrong body part had been entered and had now been amended. Telephone consultation today : Firstly, was an hour early, which luckily wasn’t a problem. Secondly, again I was asked about my right elbow!! Wrong body part again, which has not inspired me with confidence. Was left feeling quite unhappy and with little confidence in service.
