Review titled Trial & Error. Practice

Awful experience. They are promoting Apos Therapy which in my case is not advisable. They don’t have any experience on bones, The Physio Therapist from Apos Therapy Health Centre, Bedford has discharged me because Apos doesn’t work with me. She told me that MSK Bedford should refer me to the Orthopaedic. And even my GP emailed them that I need a bone doctor. But they just ignored. Now, it’s time for me to complain their services..

Review titled Seek Alternative options if possible…

Referred by my GP in April 23 to Circle MSK Beds for a phone appointment in June 2023. Received call discussed problem, was offered “self help” and informed an email containing exercise details would follow. Nothing received, I emailed after 7 days, had reply but still no sign of exercises, emailed again after 11 days still nothing. I would actually struggle to say anything positive other than the admin person will reply by email if you give her couple of days to do so. In terms of treatment it’s any one’s guess !

Review titled Poor communications poor admin service

I echo previous respondents. march 2020 was my first appt. When i actually get to see a specialist they are good but no long term resolution, just a holding pattern, but the back office staff continuously shifted visits, do not respond to emails and generally are dismissive. Really unimpressed with this service as i thought it was supposed to be the specialist care unit to resolve chronic issues.

Review titled No care, no communication

How the Circle MSK can be part of our wonderful NHS is beyond me. I have be waiting months to be seen, I turned up for an appointment today only to be told it is cancelled an hour ago !, they advised a text was send, needless to say it did not get to me. The appointment letter states we have to give a minimum of 48hrs notice to cancel and there is no phone number on the letter, its a joke. I am left in pain which effects every part of my life and this has been going on for 8 months now and getting no where, it is a disgrace.

My GP referred me to this service over 5 months ago and I am still waiting to get some form of suitable treatment. When I queried why it has taken this long they responded with Circle MSK is a non urgent service. Despite the fact the GP stated all spinal injuries have to go through Circle. The service needs to be investigated for the lack of care they are responsible for delivering.

Review titled Disappointed
Rated 1 star out of 5

My GP arranged for me to have an x-ray taken in September, which was made available to Circle. Three months on I saw a Circle consultant. That appointment (on 9 December) was futile because Circle failed to provide the consultant with the x-ray. This has resulted in my needing to have repeat x-rays and to attend a second consultant appointment at some stage in the future; thus increasing wait time not just for me but for other patients and increasing cost to the NHS due to unnecessary duplication. Only wait! It is 22 December and Circle have told me by email that they don't know when the consultant will be holding clinics for NHS patients in 2023. Their wording clearly suggests that they know the dates their private patients. This seems to be an astounding approach to NHS patient health and wellbeing. It is unfathomable that those responsible within Circle for managing NHS patient appointments have allowed such a state of affairs to develop. Circle have left me in extreme pain, not knowing what the next steps in my treatment are or when they will be. This is very worrying for me as a patient. I am having to take high dose prescription pain killers. Not only is this costly for the NHS (the most up to date prescription cost analysis from 2018 puts the cost of prescriptions dispensed in the community at £8.8 billion), it is also medically undesirable. To say I am disappointed with the service provided by Circle is an understatement.
