Visited today with what I thought was a sprain but turned out to be a break. Every single person I dealt with was welcoming and empathetic. Fantastic care. Thank you all

  2. Review titled Amazing practitioners

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Francesca Cipa - Posted on 14 December 2023

I’m so thankful for the three doctors / practitioners we met today after my 2.5 year old daughter was in pain with a pulled elbow after a day at nursery. We were seen in such a quick time, and each individual was incredible with my daughter, making her laugh, playing games with her and even blowing a glove up as a balloon with some string. They found the problem, manoeuvred her arm and slot her elbow back into the position it should be in. I’ve never had such a great experience with the NHS team as we had today, what was a worrying time turned into a very pleasing outcome. Thank you so so much!

Went for a GP referral walk-in xray and misunderstood when the lunch break finished, so turned up at 1.30 but was seen by 2.10 and out by 2.20. Amazing service

Do you have a walk in service for X-Ray? I just live nearby and do not want to travel to Queens no more.

  6. Review titled Extremely a great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Colin Back - Posted on 05 December 2023

Even though I had waited for 23 minutes to register at the reception, and even had a queue jumper, (of which I did not mind, as she looked like she was in pain, and I was brought up with women and children come first), I had only sat down for about 3 minutes and then I was called in for my x-ray , and they were so polite and treated you as a human being and not just as a number, and had checked and answered all my questions, I fully recommend this service, even though it has had some very bad reviews, but let's face it every thing has its up and downs, its just the way of life, sorry for the rant, but that is what I have experienced, so well donetotheteam (you all should get a pay rise)

  7. Review titled A long wait...

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Attended the ultrasound department at Harold Wood polyclinic on 15th Oct for a scan on my wrist. Despite the slightly disconcerting request to take off my socks and shoes ( eventually identified it was my wrist to examine ) scans were taken and I was advised the results should be with my doctors in a couple of days. 30th October and the surgery is still waiting for the ultrasound results. Lets hope its nothing serious eh..In for a long wait.

Ineffective reception staff tool information in correctly- appalling service from treating practitioners unable to explain circumstances/need. Required stitches out told 4 to 6 hour wait and make an appointment. Advised stitches need to come out in 6 days told you will have to wait for appointment- attitude appalling manner appalling.

  9. Review titled Pathetic Polyclinic

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 June 2023

I was referred to Haroldwood polyclinic by 111 and given an appointment .I reached on the time but after reaching their I was asked to go to some other hospital as they don't work after 10 and they don't have specialization. I was in immense pain but the staff was not helpful and didn't care about my pain.Instead they started complaining about 111 and started saying they are not doing their job properly. To be honest as a patient I don't care where the communication gap is but Harold Wood Polyclinic doesn't care about the patient or their health and their main focus is to put blame 111 for not doing their job properly.

  10. Review titled Receptionist make an error on disabled pt 13/6/23

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 June 2023

I have had cancer surgery recently and came in for an ear infection problem. Receptionist and nurse practitioner made a mistake firstly by not booking me and giving me a piece of paper because they were they were on lunch. They called me once apparently but because I’m deaf and have an ear infection they did not bother finding out where I was even though I was sat outside. They called me once and then said I had to wait 6 hours to see the GP even though the board said 2 hours then changed to 4 hours. Absolutely useless staff they appear to not understand how to treat disabled staff. This is conducive for an environment where law suits will arise. Absolutely shocking - I left eventually after 3 hours and no outcomes (even the current doctor saying I needed to see the night doctor - everyone seems to want to do no work). They were trying to get me to go A and E to palm me off - absolutely useless this service is. Not sure why I pay tax for this?
