Thank you to everyone at Newmedica. I've had both cataracts done. I found the waiting rooms calm and relaxing and enjoyed the video and music whilst waiting pre op. Totally professional throughout . Thank you all for making my procedures as easy and comfortable as possible. I highly recommend them.

Very professional caring staff, in particular the two members of staff who cared for me at my pre-op session. Both very reassuring, friendly and kind. Also Doctor and theatre staff carried out cataract proceedure swiftly and painlessly - very aware of patient apprehension! Pleasant waiting room, good calm atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Such a good experience leaves no qualms at all about repeat on other eye. Many thanks to everyone at Medicare

Good overall. Staff were professional, friendly and understanding. Information leaflets appeared not to concur with information received at time of surgery and I didn’t not receive the leaflet until after attending for my assessment when I had to ask for it. I would have liked more detailed information about what to expect during surgery as, though not painful at all, the experience of the lights I found quite disturbing which was something I hadn’t expected. The clinic and theatre area was clean and tidy and I greatly appreciated the lovely cup of tea and biscuit after the surgery

Communication from practice prior to procedure very good. The consultation prior to the operation was very good and I was given information on my eyes that I was not aware of before. I was given a firm date for the procedure and a choice of time of day. The time scale was very short from the consultation to operation. I felt I was looked after extremely well from start to finish with everything being explained perfectly. All staff very friendly and although it was very busy I was made to feel that my procedure was very important. The surgeon was excellent talking me through every step of the way and with vlittle discomfort. Regards Brian Barnett.

Having had cataract removed from both eyes, I am amazed at my vision, my left eye was an amblyopic eye and I have had little to no sight for over 60 years. After the surgery this eye has very good sight and my right eye has improved vastly. I can not thank the staff and surgeons enough. Knowledgeable and friendly staff made the procedure very pleasant experience

My second operation and as the previous experience it was exceptional. All the staff are very professional and keep you at ease throughout. A follow up phone call the next day to check everything was ok.
