My sight had deteriorated badly due to cataract and pco,my Optitian referred me to New Medica for treatment. I has been a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff are knowledgeable and efficient working as a team across the board to provide the best possible experience in a professional but friendly atmosphere, I felt at ease during every visit. My conditions were assessed and treatment options, explained in full, which were cataract surgery and Yag laser treatment for pco. I had successful cataract surgery Monday and successful laser treatment on Wednesday. Both were done efficiently and professionally and I was looked after with care and respect before, during and after the treatments. The difference in my sight is quite overwhelming, I can drive, watch TV and do photography again, I only need my glasses for really close reading, my medium to long distance sight is so clear I still can't believe it and its only been 3 days, I have only had mild irritation during my recovery which quickly passes. I didn't realise how bad my sight had become till I couldn't do the things we take for granted, now my world has been restored. I would like to thank every staff member at NewMedica, Aston for their professional, caring, respectful and friendly attitude which they gave me during my assessment and treatment, my daily life is now 100% better for which I am truly grateful. I would highly recommend Newmedica Aston, Birmingham for treatment, a wonderful team and experience all round. Thanks to all of team. Martin

Both my wife and I have now had cataract surgery at newmedica.(my wife has to return to have her other eye done)we are both so pleased with everything at newmedica.the staff are excellent and caring especially the surgeons who carried out our operations.what could have been an ordeal was a calm and relatively painless procedure.thank you to one and all at newmedica.

From my first consultation through to cataract surgery the staff were brilliant, everything was explained and I felt at ease. On day of surgery all staff were helpful, friendly and made me feel welcome even though I was really nervous. A good experience from start to finish. Will not be as nervous when I have the other eye done. Thank you to all staff at Newmedica

I have had right eye and left eye cataract surgery at Newmedica Aston . I highly recommend Newmedica for swift appointment caring professional staff and top consultants. Any medical procedures can be daunting but the staff put me at ease with knowledge and kindness Full marks Newmedica.

I was very nervous on arrival, however all the staff were very polite, helpful and really put my mind at rest. The practice was spotlessly clean and very peaceful waiting room to sit and relax before being taken through to meet the surgeon. He was very pleasant on meeting. Made me feel at ease. Both visits were 5 star all the way.

My appointment to discuss cataract surgery was so reassuring. I was very nervous plus being very deaf which is always a problem. I need not have worried as every member of staff I saw was so kind and caring. A 'smiley' and happy experience for me and made me a lot less scared about the surgery to come. Thanks to everyone.

I had been struggling with poor vision since the beginning of the year and it was very scary at night. I was referred to Newmedica Birmingham. They were amazing, friendly and understanding. I happily choose toric private surgery after all options were clearly explained to me. I had my left eye done three weeks ago and wow wow best thing I ever did, my surgery took about 20 mins and I could see straight away though a little blurry at first a few days on I had better vision than I've ever had in my life Thanks so much to all the staff and professor for this amazing journey and can't wait to have right eye done in a few days.
