All the health practitioners I saw were friendly, professional and skilled and explained things in easily understandable terms. Special thanks to the surgeon and his team for giving me my "new right eye." I know I will be in safe hands when I return for the same procedure on my left eye.

I couldn’t believe how efficient this service was . I was booked in within 30 minutes after seeing my optician for a referral and then offered a cancellation slot just 4 days afterwards . On attending the clinic, I was seen within 5 minutes and had my cataract operation within 15 minutes. I could not fault the service. Premises were modern and spotless. The staff and surgical team were both friendly and professional. Well done all.

This is a wonderful service from referral to assessment to operation and after care. A one stop shop. The staff were so efficient and friendly putting me at ease.

After having 2 cataracts removed the surgical team are first class, all the staff are very professional and put you at ease from the moment you enter the building. Both operations were extremely quick and pain free and the After care is very good tea or coffee and biscuits. I can't praise the surgeons and care staff enough I would recommend Newmedica every time. The waiting time for appointments from request to perform the procedure is minimal and the surgery is less than 20 minutes. Overall the best experience I've ever had in the medical field.

First class service- totally professional with friendly, efficient staff. From visiting the optician, being referred then having the operation done was only three weeks, amazing. No after effects and after only three days the difference is unbelievable.The whole process is faultless and a follow up call the day after the op is a nice touch. Thank you to all the staff involved, much appreciated.

We attended the Newmedica Eye Health Clinic & Surgical Centre Plymouth because my husband required a cataract operation, and he had been referred there because of its great reputation. We found the experience particularly good. Parking was no problem there, and when we went in, the receptionists were very welcoming. The waiting area was calming, and well lit with comfortable seating. We were seen on time, by friendly helpful staff, and my husband was very reassured by the whole process, especially as he had had a really bad experience in the past at another hospital when his other eye had needed a cataract removed. He came away feeling much more positive and relaxed about having another cataract procedure.

The thought of eye surgery under local anaesthetic was very daunting but the staff at NewMedica were fantastic in explaining the process and allayed all my fears and concerns. The surgery itself took 20mins from the time i walked into theatre to the time i walked out and there was no pain or discomfort during the procedure at all. Within 24 hrs my eye seemed to have recovered - no soreness, redness or anything to indicate I'd had eye surgery the previous day. The improvement in my sight is incredible and I'm looking forward to getting my other eye fixed now
