    My experience after having both eye cataract surgery. All staff members are so helpful I could name most of the staff, they put you at ease and explain every step. I would certainly recommend Newmedica.

    My mother had her first cataract replacement at your clinic. Our appointment was at 7:45 i.e. the first appointment of the day however she did not go into the suite until 830. She was very anxious and unfortunately was not able to have any sedative as this had to be requested in advance, which we did not know. She also felt that it would have been more comforting if the ophthalmologist had described what he was doing throughout the procedure.

    From entering the clinic until I left I felt completely at ease. Everything explained before, during and after the cataract surgery. Can’t praise or recommend thr team enough.

    I was referred by my optician for cataract surgery. All the staff at Newmedica were extremely helpful and supportive and made the process completely stress free. Would highly recommend.

    I was very impressed at my first appointment at the speed & efficiency of the process. My followup appointment yesterday was a totally different experience. On arrival I was told that there was a bit of a wait. However two hours later I was still waiting to see my consultant. I had ascertained the sequence of appointments but .when it came to mine another patients name was called out. It was now more than two hours since arrival & I had to pull out of the queue & made another appointment for 2 weeks time. Whilst I acknowledge that some appointments can take much longer I am of the opinion that this time delay is unacceptable & it resulted in a very disappointing experience & a very stressful day. The reception staff were very helpful & courteous trying to manage a difficult situation.

    I’m very happy with the treatment and level of care received during the course of my Cataract operation. Right from the initial assessment , the operation and after care I’ve felt supported and put at ease right through the entire process. Please pass on my thanks to everyone involved for putting mind at rest during each stage .
