Extremely well run practise. Everything was explained to me. I found the operation really interesting. I felt safe and at ease all the time. All my questions were answered. I had no bruising to my eye, it just looked slightly tired. I was given 28 days supply of eye drops. I was given a chart to mark every time I did my eye drops four times a day, so I would know what I've done. And I would like to add, any one going for this surgery, there's no need to worry at all. I felt relaxed all the time and I knew exactly what was going to happen and what was going on.

I had my first cataract operation 4 weeks ago. It was pain-free and post surgery, my eye only watered for a few hours. The whole experience was so easy! All the staff and surgeon were so reassuring and helpful. Pre- and post-care was so helpful too. They phoned the morning after, which was reassuring. They were willing to answer all my questions and sent me to a local optician when I needed a check-up during the first week. I have had high myopia all my life, with glasses and contact lenses, and the sight in my operated eye now is amazing! Thank you Newmedica Exeter!

The whole experience was very efficient with helpful and understanding from all the staff . The surgeon came out to reassure me I was in safe hands, a nice gesture and as this is is eye surgery very much appreciated . I didn’t feel that I was one of many many patients , it felt very individual . Very good care throughout. Thank you !

I found the service the second time I had eye surgery as good as the first, professional and all done in a nice environment with pleasant staff. I was kept informed throughout the process and felt very safe.

Experience was good although would have liked a follow up call the next day. Also an explanation of what could be expected I.e colour changes in new lens.

I have now have had both my eyes treated with new lenses. I cannot rate the service I received highly enough. All of the staff members I met with were highly professional and caring. The surgeons talked me through each step of the procedure as they went along, reassuring me that all was going well. I felt confident that I was in safe hands throughout both operations. It was pain free both before and afterwards. As expected a bit scratchy for a couple of days but within twenty four hours I was seeing the world with crystal clear vision. Having just had the second eye done has made a massive difference to the crispness of distance vision and my reading only requires the weakest of reading glasses. I’ve discovered the brilliance of colour again and as someone who works with colour daily, it is an absolute miracle . Thank you to each member of staff who I met with . I am so, so grateful. Sue

From the initial consultation to the actual cataract surgery everything was dealt with very swiftly and efficiently. The staff are very friendly and happy to answer any questions about the procedures . On the day of surgery the staff made everything as relaxed and stress free as possible with their calm, friendly, and cheerful attitude. Surgery was painless and surprisingly quick, followed by a very welcome cup of coffee ! A lovely team - a big thankyou to all of you.

It’s been good, I was seen to quickly and everything explained well. All questions answered. I was offered an appointment for my surgery on the day of my initial assessment.
