I was petrified of having my eye operated on. From the outset the staff were all amazing, putting me at ease. A staff member even held my hand throughout the procedure.

I recently had surgery for cataracts, at every stage of the process all of the staff were fantastic. Clear information and support throughout which was particularly good as I am phobic about any procedures involving my eyes. Very highly recommended…

All my life I have had a severe phobia about thing near my eyes. Last week I had a cataract done here with absolutely no problems. No injections , totally awake and no problems. I simply can’t express how safe I felt and how 25 minutes after going in for the operation I was being driven home.

I attended the clinic today for laser treatment. The service I received was out standing. The staff were very friendly and professional. The optometrist who performed the laser treatment explained everything clearly and I couldn't believe how quick the procedure was. Thank you so much to everyone concerned.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes in April and June, 2023. On both occasions, and on my assessment appointment, I found the staff to be very kind and caring. A lovely calm and friendly atmosphere at all times and everything explained to you throughout. No waiting about for hours on end, and a great outcome. A cup of tea or coffee and biscuits afterwards! I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending New Medica at Shrewsbury. The only downside is that I now don’t need spectacles for distance, but I do need them for reading!

Following cateract surgery just over 12 months ago, I needed YAG laser surgery. Cannot fault Newmedica from start to finish. Very helpful and caring staff with clear information about the treatment.

I received cataract surgery at this clinic and I can not praise them enough. From beginning to end every member of staff were professional, polite and actually caring. The actual clinic is modern, exceptionally clean and welcoming. The care I received was outstanding, from reception to the fantastic surgeon who talked me through and explained every step of the procedure as she carried it out. You are treated as an individual, not a number. It's been less than 24 hours and the eye sight in my right eye is amazing already. I can not wait for my left eye to have the same procedure. I cannot thank the staff enough, they are amazing. I would 100% recommend this clinic and all their staff. They truly are fantastic.
