It had been established that I required Cataract surgery for both eyes. My right eye being the worst and due to the shape of that eye I should ideally be fitted with a Toric lens. I was impressed with the clean and modern building and that from my initial assessments to my operations the staff were friendly, polite and experienced in handling all my queries pre and post operations. On the day of the first operation I was obviously apprehensive but I was put at ease by the dedicated staff. Pain was non-existent but there was obvious discomfort. After care with eye-drops and follow-up appointments were excellent. As with all operations expect a few weeks of looking after your eye to promote healing. The results have been astounding and my vision is excellent.

From the word 'go', the practice impressed with its friendly staff and clean, modern environment. My operation and the options were discussed at length, so that I was made to feel I had a choice in several matters in the procedure. Once on the operating table, I felt no pain and was amazed at how quickly it was all completed. After care was also good, with friendly and attentive staff at every point. I look forward to my experience being the same with the other eye in due course!

The whole experience, from my initial consultation appointment to my follow up cataract procedure was excellent and problem free. The clinic staff were very welcoming and attentive and made you feel completely at ease. Precautions regarding possible Covid infection was very high and staff wore sterile masks at all times. Other facilities included customer hand sanitisation dispensers and masks, and patient seating was arranged to follow social distancing within the clinic. The surgeon who carried out my procedure was very reassuring and clearly very skilled and the process was pain free and went very smoothly. Overall a very professional and caring service which I would have no hesitation to recommend to others. Thank you Newmedica.
