I was put at ease and the lovely staff answered my questions. It is a small department, spotless and well managed, each member of the team just calmly doing their jobs. The procedure was fully explained by the Consultant who listened to my history and explained the procedure .During the procedure a nurse was by my head and one holding my hand, the consultant talked to me throughout the procedure about what he was doing which helped me know how much time was left. Not the nicest of examinations but the staff helped keep me calm and talked me through every step. The whole experience was over within 5 minutes the surgeon explained his findings clearly. I was very impressed with every aspect of the Gastroscopy.Very organised Please do not worry if you are about to have one especially at Sandy Lane the staff are amazing thank you all.

I was terrified at the thought of having a Gastroscopy..my GP even gave me a sedative tablet! I need not have worried, I was put at ease and the lovely staff answered my questions. It is a small department, spotless and well managed, each member of the team just calmly doing their jobs. The procedure was fully explained. During the procedure a nurse was by my head, the consultant talked to me throughout the procedure about what he was doing. The throat spray worked a treat, I didnt need my sedative at all. The whole experience was over quickly.... and I was shown photos of my oesophagus and stomach after it was over...the surgeon explained his findings clearly. I was very impressed with every aspect of the Gastroscopy. Please do not worry if you are about to have one. They were brilliant!

From reception, through the whole experience, the nurses and doctor were exceptional. Very kind and explained everything. Checked constantly that I was ok and gave encouragement throughout the difficult procedure. Explained everything afterwards. Made an unpleasant procedure better.

Not the easiest building to find but all the staff were friendly and professional. The procedure was explained thoroughly beforehand and lots of reassurance given. In the treatment room, the staff were very welcoming, friendly and professional. Lovely to have all staff introduced and lots of reassurance and information given before, during and after. Thank you for the great service you are offering, if anyone I know needs to have the safe procedure I’d definitely recommend you.

Following the given instructions I found the waiting room easily, I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner by staff. After the procedure had been explained and questions asked I was taken to the treatment room. I was given lots of reassurance and the procedure of the appointment was explained in detail. After being made comfortable the specialist told me all about what was going on and I was constantly reassured by his assistants. I was given a full explanation of the results once completed. I know this is not something that you would volunteer to have done but hey the procedure was made easier by the caring, professional and calming manner of the team - thanks muchly. Therefore I would highly recommend the team for this procedure. Well done one and all.

I was very anxious before the procedure, one of the nurses took me into a room to ask me some questions then the consultant spoke to me to explain the procedure step by step. I was introduced to the team and they looked after me, even when I panicked. Brilliant team well done to you all hopefully I won't see you again

Endoscopy's arn't the things of dreams but if you need one then you need one, The staff were all friendly and professional they took time to explain everything involved and made sure i was fully informed and comfortable, the consultant also took time to fully discuss the procedure before and during, on completion discussed everything in detail and provided results, as a team the staff work well and i couldn't have been in better hands so thank you all, Excellent service from start to finish

Very professional, staff kept me informed throughout the procedure. At the beginning of the procedure I was introduced to all the staff involved in the procedure, this put me at ease and made me feel more comfortable with what is an unpleasant procedure.

Throughout my procedure I was informed of what was happening, I had full confidence in the staff involved who were professional and caring. Although my procedure was difficult, I was reassured and made to feel relaxed.

From walking through the doors the kindness professionalism and a very calming manner all helped to make this procedure not too bad!! I can’t thank the staff enough for the manner in which I was dealt with the information I was given first class !!!!!
