All staff at every stage of the procedure to have a cataract removed were smiley, helpful and completely reassuring. At each stage, the nurse gave full and helpful explanations as to what was happening. There was quite a long wait between the anaesthetic drops being administered and one actually getting into the operating theatre: about an hour and a half. Once in, the atmosphere was very professional and concerned with me and my comfort. During the operation, there was no discomfort, one having just to continue to stare into a very bright light. Soft, reassuring words throughout as the main surgeon oversaw the trainee actually doing the removal. Very sympathetic and understanding discharge nurse who spelled out the care required of me for the following 2 weeks.

Today I attended SoaMedice to have one of my cataracts removed and I was extremely nervous but all the nurses and staff that attended me were very sympathetic and put me at ease. Every step if the way staff were friendly and reassuring and in the theatre again. I have to say I’m clostraphobic but the surgeon sorted that problem quickly and I was put at ease. I have to have my other eye done in a few weeks and I am no longer worried as the experience and service I received by all the staff was outstanding.

I had an eye operation at Spa Medica Birmingham in August 2024. Helpful staff. Quick service. Clinic was clean. Provided good information. Would recommend to family and friends.

Although apprehensive I needn't have been. The operation was painless and all the staff I met were professional, very helpful and friendly. I qualified for transport so what can I say - door to door service. The whole experience was stress free. Thank you to all concerned with this wonderful service.

Had Cataract surgery and was treated very professionally and friendly and the facility was top class. It took the anxiety away from the procedure with a calming influence.

A very welcoming environment. Excellent help and care from every member of staff. Everyone was courteous and helpful. The whole process was seamless and by great care was taken by everyone to ensure my comfort. Every step of the process was explained to ensure I was aware of exactly what was going on. The surgeon and his nurse were outstandimg

I went in to have my cataract surgery. The Appointments were made quickly , and efficiently. I was very pleased with the service provided. All the staff were very friendly and I was relived to see how quickly they made me feel at ease. I was informed about the surgery and provided with all the information, any doubts I was experiencing about the surgery were all informed and dealt with professionally. I was prepared and made at ease before the surgery, so I was quite relaxed. I would like to say Thank you very much for all the effort you put in.
