My mum had both cataracts done over the summer months. The staff across all areas I.e. reception, surgeons and after care service were very professional and caring. My mum couldn’t fault anything and would recommend highly to anyone needing this treatment.

Cant differentiate regarding staff . All friendly professional listening patient and accomodating. Bit of delay on last visit but this was softened by being offered coffee and biscuits !! Thanks

The pre-op treatment was excellent. I was frightened of the cataract operation, but was put at my ease and there was help available for not being able to keep my eye open. This was my 2nd cataract operation, and the after-effects were different from the 1st, just as was suggested in the booklet. The first one produced dazzling light, but the final result was good. The 2nd one produced blurred vision for quite a while after (a day or so), but again the final result has been good. It was helpful to know from the accompanying booklet that this might be the case. The after care was also efficient and good and it made a difference to have biscuits and water available then. I had trouble putting in drops accurately with the first operation, but had an 'Autodrop' for the second which made things much easier, and much less wasteful of the drops.

Bit apprehensive on first consultation. But soon calmed by friendly attentive staff. Explanations all through appointment. Quick follow up with operation date. The procedure itself was carried out painless and efficiently. Surgeon explaining and putting me at ease all along. Operation time no more than 10 minutes but pre-surgery procedures take longer. Good parking in area. Large waiting room with refreshments available for any friend/relative attending with you to take you home. Post surgery procedures given in detail personally and in a publication with helpline numbers should they be needed. Great service which I would recommend to anyone on a waiting list. Following the surgery, after 2-4 weeks, colours are so much brighter and I don't need my glasses, well only to read!! My second eye was operated in in same place one month later. Thank you.

Everyone at Spa Medica in Bromley, South East London was welcoming. I was very anxious about going there but I was put at ease, reassured, and what a great outcome I had.

I had my second cataract surgery on 21st July and the treatment was excellent. The staff were extremely competent and helpful and really put me at ease. The outcome of the operation has been excellent.

Every service by staff could not be faulted. Premises were clean and well looked after. I was kept informed every step of the way to the cataract surgery and the follow up for the next 3 weeks

I was very worried when my optician told me I needed cataract surgery. They referred me to SpaMedica in Bromley and told me I would hear from them within 3 months. Two days later I received a phone call from SpaMedica and they gave me an appointment for two days later. I was very nervous about the surgery. My worries and concerns however were unfounded. Without exception, the entire staff at the clinic were amazing. At every stage, each procedure was carefully explained and performed using state of the art modern equipment. The operatives were very friendly, very experienced and did a great job of making me feel at ease. Eventually the cataract surgery was performed and I wondered why I had been so anxious. At no time during the entire procedure did I experience any pain or discomfort. I was quite amazed by how painless the whole procedure had been and I would strongly recommend anyone not to worry about going for treatment at SpaMedica, Bromley. Again, I can’t praise the whole team enough. Caring, friendly, considerate and extremely professional. Thank you all so much at SpaMedica.

Like others I felt anxious but was put at my ease at every step of the way by all the staff, both medical and admin. Every care was taken and all my questions listened to and answered or acted on. The hospital is spotlessly clean. The cleaner was always there when I visited, always on the go. Thank you for everything you have done for me. My distance sight is wonderful giving me confidence to drive again. SpaMedica thoroughly recommended.

Excellent: friendly, pleasant staff and treated as an individual despite being one of many. The premises are easy to find and kept scrupulously clean. I may have been dreading my op but was put at ease throughout.
