This is my second visit for cataract treatment and on both occasions the service has been superb. The Spa Medica premises are modern, clean and all the staff were pleasant and helpful from the man on the door to the surgeon. I couldn't have asked for a better service and two successful operations. Well done.

A extremely Friendly and Professional service from the first consultation appointment to the final two surgery appointments. No fuss no waiting and a clear definitive explanation at all stages of the experience. All of the staff were extremely friendly, professional in their approach, very knowledgeable ,and helpful. The service was above and beyond any expectations. On a personal note the distance glasses have been ditched after twenty plus years ! What's not to like!.

Had cataract surgery twice at this clinic (Dec 24 and Jan 25), both experiences have been very positive from the welcome at the door to discharge. Everyone was very helpful, caring and knowledgeable .The results of the surgery were great and the advice for aftercare was great too. I cannot fault the process and would highly recommend to anyone needing cataract surgery.

From Assessment to the actual surgery, the service received was excellent. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A modern, clean and pleasant hospital.

I had my first cataract surgery in December with amazing results. Right from walking through the door my treatment was 5 star from the gentleman on reception to all the staff at Spa Medica. Thank you so much to all the fantastic staff.

Most efficient patient care during my 2 visits for the removal of cataract. All staff were friendly, helpful and respectful. A first class experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

I cannot speak highly enough of the efficiency and patient care I received during my recent cataract procedure. The staff were friendly approachable and respectful, from the reception staff to the nurses, examiners, surgeons and aftercare. It was a first class experience from start to finish.

Following a visit to my optician on the 25th November 2024 and the diagnosis of cataracts, only a few days elapsed before I received a telephone call from SpaMedica setting the date of the 10th December for an initial assessment at Carlisle. This was swiftly followed by precise and concise instructions by post. I was seen promptly and led through the sequence of inspection and assessment. All the staff were relaxed, informative, friendly and careful. Before leaving, I was given the date of the 18th December for my first operation. Again, I was seen on time and found the staff as before but additionally humorous, reassuring and careful to explain the procedure exactly. The operation itself involved little more than momentary discomfort, much helped by the deftness and commentary of and by the surgeon. The entire event, pre-op, operation and post-op took just 90 minutes. SpaMedica produced a swift initial response, excellent time-keeping and a faultless service. Their premises are well designed, immaculately clean and pleasantly functional. I have yet to be given a date for my second operation but am booked to visit my optician on the 15th January 2025. Can't wait.
