From the moment that I went in for my careact removal I was treated with great respect. The operation went very smooth. . Would recommend this hospital to anyone needing a caterac removal

So glad I went ahead with cataract surgery vision is so clear now. Clinic staff were very nice and attentive. Procedure was very quick. I could not think of anything to ask discharge nurse at time had questions later once home e.g how long before pupil takes to go back to normal (2 days in my case) would have been good to have information such as this at discharge. Did use phone number provided for queries which was very helpful.

Staff were kind and helpful ,put me at ease from the word go. They explained what and when things would happen which put my mind at rest as I am some what of a worrier . All of your staff ,nurses and surgeons are a credit to you .

I have now had both my cataracts done at Colchester. The first being July and the second September 2024. Cannot fault the care and attention to detail both times and to all the staff and especially the surgeon, vision is clearer. The building is very clean too. Thanks.

I had my second cataract operation recently and the attention and care I received both times was excellent. Efficient,kind and thorough. The whole team looked after me very well. Thank you.

Surgery carried out with full explanations by caring staff. Nothing too much trouble, whether answering questions or explaining what was happening.

it was a pleasure to be walking in the clinic. it was clean n airy. the staff werevery pleasant and welcoming.every step of the procedure was explained clearly. The actual surgery was performed by a very pleasant surgeon who make me feel at ease and the procedure took a short time i have had both eyes operated on by the same surgeon and will not hesitate to recommrnd him and the clinic to anyone

I was referred to spamedica for cataract surgery. The experience was beyond my expectations. I was offered post op assessment quickly followed by surgery within 2 weeks. The staff were very professional and caring and explained every step clearly. I would highly recommend spamedica based on my experience

Had my cataract done today at Spa Medica in Colchester.Had my first one done at the Chelmsford branch three years ago .I can’t praise highly enough of the treatment I received in both clinics . All staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure you felt safe and relaxed prior to and after your procedure . The doctor who performed the op talked to me the whole time,explaining what he was doing and why ,I couldn’t fault my visit on any level .
