A very efficient process. Throughout the staff were professional and helpful. They demonstrated best practice throughout. They created an atmosphere of welcome and reassurance which enabled me to relax. It is very obvious that they work as a seamless and cohesive team.

I had my Cataract assessment on the 2nd April 2025 and before l left Spamedica l was booked in for the removal on 4th April! My treatment by the staff from Receptionist to Nursing Staff to Surgeon was amazing, professional but also a very pleasant experience! Everything was that was to happen and the part l needed to play to avoid infection was clearly explained to me and was checked with me that l understood everything! I would certainly recommend anyone to attend there! My thanks to all concerned! Regards Kate Lacey

I attended Spamedica on April 10th to have a cataract removed . The place was spotless throughout. Everyone from the receptionist to the surgeon were very polite and helpful , explaining everything to me what was going to happen . They put my mind at ease and made me feel more comfortable about the operation . The whole procedure was quick and painless , I couldn’t be more happier . Thoroughly recommend Spamedica

Attention to detail ie , welcoming on arrival , didn’t have to wait too long , nurse to look after me after my op.offering a seat and a very welcome drink.

Very friendly practice. From the consultation to the cataract surgery itself went smoothly. Everyone very helpful and put me at ease. All documentation given was very easy to follow. Cannot fault the service and highly recommend SpaMedica, Derby.

I attended SpaMedica Derby twice. Once for the consultation and then the operation in my left eye. The staff there were wonderful. The waiting time was minimal and I was offered my operation a week after the initial consultation. On the day of the operation all staff were amazing and I was looked after and explained everything extremely well.

Friendly service right from assessment to having the cataract removed. Explaining each procedure through out. Couldn’t believe how quick and painless it was, compared to my previous cataract removal at my local hospital.
