I had my pre-op on the 10th June and my cataract operation on the 17th. I was really worried about it but needn't have been. Everyone at the clinic is so kind and helpful. The op was explained to me and I met the surgeon and was put at my ease. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone

The staff were very friendly. The surgeon was lovely as were all the nurses .The whole experience was very good I was very nervous and they were all very kind

I took my wife to the Derby eye clinic for cataract surgery and I explained to a member of staff that she had a form of dementia and I needed to be close to her.They could not have been more helpful and let me attend the eye tests with her except for the actual surgery procedure.Fantastic team.Thank you all.

My first impression was good as I was met at the door and given good directions. A small criticism is to refresh the reading and puzzle books in the waiting area as they were all complete. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The procedure was explained fully in a manner that was easy to understand. Aftercare was explained but I struggled to understand some of it, as it was delivered in a rapid way and, although the information given was in the leaflet, I was unable to read it on return home because of the operation. The sealed bottles of eyedrops were difficult to open by someone like me who has arthritis as the labels had been wrapped around the top. On the whole, an excellent service and my comments above do not detract from an overall 5* treatment.

The Doctors and nurses and all support staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. They made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and the aftercare was as good. Everything went well and I now feel much happier.

I was given the date of my cataract operation just four days after my assessment appointment which I thought was excellent. I was greeted by pleasant helpful staff from the moment I walked through the door. The operation went smoothly and efficiently and all the staff were kind and considerate. The whole visit was over in one and a half hours which was shorter than I expected. The aftercare information provided is very helpful and I would certainly recommend Spa Medica to anyone needing cataract surgery.

Had my second cataract done yesterday with this company at Derby. They are so caring and helpful from the reception to the surgeon. I can’t thank them enough. When I attended for my first cataract was very nervous but put me at ease and everything went smoothly, the difference the following morning was unbelievable. This morning exactly the same. Thank you Spamedica for all you have done.
