I had my cataract surgery done there. From the moment I went in I felt at ease. The Reception staff were friendly and informative. I was seen quickly by the medical staff and took a seat in the waiting room. I was called in and the procedure was explained to me step by step as it took place. I would recommend SpaMedica. Their whole staff group were thorough in explaining things and kind too. A good experience fo me.

First class efficient service,staff were friendly knowledgeable. The overall experience was first class the NHS could learn a lot from the way the facility is organised and motivated staff

From entering the clinic to leaving after the procedure the staff were excellent. At every stage of the procedure an explanation of what was going to happen was given by the relevant team member. A well organised , efficient and caring staff team. Thank you.

On Behalf of Patient , I am replying on behalf of the Patient. She has experienced good treatment to both of her eye. Staff were all pleasant, and very concientious and very caring and very experienced in dealing with her welfare, treatment, aftercare, and helpful explained what she had to do before, during and after. The Staff were all pleasant, helpful, and made her visit a delight, kept at ease throughout at every appointment she had, including bringing drinks and biscuits, before and after treatment, both for and myself, as I had taken her to and from the clinic for her treatment. Parking was fairly easy at the clinic, easy to find, and staff were all polite and helpful throughout.

Spamedica Derby was a real eye-opener (no pun intended). As a disabled pensioner I am always worried about any medical procedure but there was no need to worry at all. Every single staff member I came into contact with was caring, helpful, and extremely professional. Every single step of the way was explained clearly. I cannot praise SpamedicaDerby too highly - heartfelt thanks to them all

The entire practice was friendly, caring and helpful from transport to the much needed cup of coffee offered after the op. It is just unfortunate that the name is SPAM(medica) as we are advised to avoid Spam

Within the space of 2 months I have had both Cataracts removed by Spa Medica Derby. Absolutely excellent service, super speedy and very efficient. Staff all very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Spa Medica Derby. Thanks so much

I was very apprehensive about having an operation on my eye. However, the whole experience was extremely good. The waiting time was better than I’d expected. The staff were very helpful and professional. The aftercare of my eye was well explained and I could function perfectly within a day or two. Thank you to all the staff, treatment & care. Well done.
