The whole experience was completely painless. The staff were very friendly but extremely professional. I can't wait to have my second eye done and get my new glasses!

The staff at SpaMedica were professional and efficient. There was an opportunity to talk through concerns about cataract surgery. I would have liked more information about managing post surgery. Staff on the telephone were extremely helpful.

This experience was absolutely amazing: was a bit dreading the procedure but it was just so good. Staff fantastic and procedure done with kindness, care, expertise and empathy. These people have given me a new lease of life and sight that is making a whole new life open to me. Thank you all at SpaMedica, Derby. You’re a brilliant team of lovely people.

all the staff were welcoming, courteous and efficient and despite it being a production line type of process to be assessed I felt I received personal attention and could ask anything I wanted, much as I was given plenty of info, both verbally and printed… each part of the process was clearly explained and well defined in sections

From arrival to discharge there was a warm and friendly atmosphere and all the staff at the clinic were very professional, friendly and helpful. The operation was much shorter than I had expected and all stages were explained clearly to me which was very reassuring. Hot drinks were offered which was much appreciated and the whole clinic was immaculate. It is now 4 weeks since I had the operation and I have had no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone having this procedure. With grateful thanks.

This being my first eye operation I was a little apprehensive but need not have been. I was very quickly put at ease, by all members of staff, my questions were answered quickly and in a manner. That a lay man could understand. Now the day after surgery I have had no pain, and very little discomfort. I highly recommend this company, particularly the staff at Derby George Garner

I was apprehensive prior to my cataract op. but found the whole experience superb. All of the various staff were very professional and cometent, as well as being thoughtful and reassuring. Thankyou.

First ever eye operation from opticians to surgery was two weeks. Staff very friendly and professional and very caring. Went in for surgery at 9.10am on way home at 10.20 am. Cannot praise Spa Medica enough

Upon arriving, I was asked to sign a form confirming that I had not driven to the appointment. I had driven to the appointment as I was entirely entitled to do and I therefor refused to sign it. The wording was changed after which I did sign. The company appears to assume that if I had driven there, I would also drive home. I was accompanied by my wife and as planned, she drove home. Interestingly whilst the wording said I could not drive to the clinic, it said nothing about not driving home!! Members of staff did verbally confirm with me that I was not driving home. It just seems such a pity that a bit of poor text should be letting an otherwise great business down.

I was not sure as to whether to have the cataract operation, as I do not drive, but I am so pleased that I did. Spa Medica staff were so kind and explained the whole procedure to me. The clinic was thoroughly the whole procedure. My sight in my right eye is so good and I am so pleased that I had it done.
