Everyone was very friendly, caring, very officiant,Nothing seemed too much trouble. I felt well cared for. There were no problems to park which is a great bonus to the RD&E.

Fantastic care, caring staff, all very clearly explained, can’t fault it. Would definitely recommend Spa Medica to anyone wanting a cataract operation.

Good service on the day , but was not impressed that they cancelled my appointment 2 days before hand and as ism carer for my wife I still had to pay the sitter For my booking so I was not best pleased

Very nice professional staff at Spa Medica. Put me at ease right away,nothing was too much trouble. The operation was a bit more uncomfortable than I thought it would be but I was so well looked after that it made up for it.

I had very good service from Spa Medica in Exeter. I had a consultation and the following week had laser treatment on my left eye to clear the cloudiness that had occurred after having a cataract removed in 2022. I was then able to have the cataract in my right eye removed the following week. I was very impressed with how quickly all this happened. What also impressed me was the fantastic staff I met at every stage of my treatment. I was made to feel relaxed which is not easy in these situations. I would recommend anyone needed cataract treatment to use this facility.

I was a bit anxious about having the surgery on my eye and was offered a diazepam tablet to help me relax. This worked well, I found the whole process very straightforward and happy to be able to see so much better.

The experience from the time I arrived could not have been better free parking refreshments great staff from the reception through to the surgeon all were helpful and answered any questions I may have had thank you

From the moment I arrived at SpaMedica right up to the completion of my surgery on both eyes the staff were exemplary. Their care and thoughtfulness throughout what could have been a frightening process went beyond what could have been reasonably expected. The practice should be commended for the thoroughness and care demonstrated at all times by the whole team.

I've just had a cataract procedure on my second eye, only six weeks after the first. My experience this time was very similar to my initial procedure. The entire process from assessment to the actual operation went very smoothly. The environment in Exeter is very comfortable and welcoming, helped by professional and friendly staff. My advice to anyone tasked with selecting a provider for their cataract operation would be to consider Spa Medica. I choose Spa because of their short waiting time, which turned out to be a good decision.

Thank you for a wonderful service. My only suggestion would be for clearer instructions about aftercare. "Dry eye" is not a helpful description for eyes that are constantly watering! And the advice to resume "light exercise" only after a week post-op? Does that mean I can't even go for a walk for seven days? There is also a silly question following this: did the staff treat me with "dignity" and respect. Frankly I don't care how dignified the staff are, provided they safeguard my dignity! But the surgery itself is brilliant.
