I have had cataract surgery on both eyes, and both times I cannot fault the care I have received. All the staff are excellent. The hospital is spotlessly clean and appointments run to time.

I found the whole experience comfortable and all the staff friendly and kind. I did not feel hurried or pressured at any time. I was amazed at how quick the operation was, the team were amazing so professional.

Had my first cataract on 1st November and second done at the end of December I couldn’t believe the difference it made. Both times I received very good treatment by all the staff who put my mind at rest as soon as I got there well pleased with the outcome Many thanks.

I took my husband for a pre-op for a cataract operation. When I drove in and pressed the call button we were greeted by a very friendly voice. There were plenty of parking spaces available and when we walked in we were approached immediately by a friendly male member of staff. After being asked a few questions, we were offered tea or coffee - and biscuits! We asked if it was OK for me to go to the consultations as well and he immediately said it was. We didn't have to wait long before we were called through for the first consultation, which involved some sight tests. From there we had three further consultations. Again there was only a short wait between each one, although we would have been quite happy to wait longer if necessary. Each member of staff was welcoming, polite and friendly. After the final consultation we went back to the Reception Desk to make an appointment for the operation, which will be within a week. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly, as were the rest of the staff. It is always a bit worrying when you go to hospital, especially one you've never been to before. The efficiency and friendly attitude here made this experience much less daunting. I was particularly grateful to be allowed to be present at each consultation, as I was able to see what my husband was having to do and also help with any questions re his medication etc., if necessary. I will probably have to have the same treatment in a few years time, so, having seen what the pre-op involves, I will be prepared and much less nervous about my own appointment. I am now looking forward to the day of his actual operation, as I feel confident that he will be in good hands and his sight will be much improved after it. I will certainly recommend SpaMedica to friends and family. A big thank you to everyone at Exeter for your professionalism, kindness and care.

I was very happy with everything from a-z, facility was excellent and extremely clean and modern, great staff all very courteous, friendly and efficient. result of cataract surgery seems to be good

I was seen at SpaMedica Exeter after only a few weeks of applying. Other suitable establishments had waiting lists of several months, so the short wait was an incentive, although it meant an hour's drive from my home. On arrival I was greeted in a friendly manner and throughout the process, I felt the support to be personal and not like a conveyor belt. The staff were very professional and I was offered surgery within a few days. Again, this process was well organised and personal. Following surgery, I needed to call SpaMedica for advice and the telephone was answered promptly and I was seen within a few hours. I have already recommended SpaMedica to family and friends and will continue to do so.

As a homeless man with cataracts in both eyes life was very restricted. Spamedica over the course of little over 3 months paved the way for a new life. The service was efficient and welcoming. I can only praise their good work.

I had call on Monday 6 days after request for Cataract, for a Pre-Assement in Exeter and the Assessment was on the Friday in the afternoon. I was booked in for the Procedure next day, Saturday, at 0810, and I was home in Wellington by 10.00. The staff were very professional and an excellent service in every respect. It was my second Procedure in under 8 weeks and I am delighted with the results. I would highly recommend Exeter for this.
