Bright modern clean up to date practice, where I was treated with cheerful kindness, tea and biscuits by pleasant staff on the last two appointments. My Wife and Daughter, collecting me likewise. I have to say my procedure was quick and painless, the only difficulty for my aging frame was laying flat on a bed after sitting bent in a chair previously for an hour or so which gave me neck ache and difficulty in holding my head in the required position. This gave the surgeon a bit of difficulty now and then, repositioning my head and for that I am sorry, but it did take my mind off what was going on. This obviously didn't affect the result, as I have a 6 foot Snellen chart taped to a door and 3 days after the operation I can read 2 further lines down than I could before, One line above the bottom line and even some of the bottom 20/20 letters, which would give me at least 20/25 vision in my left eye. Looking forward to having my right eye done now and getting rid of the blurry sepia vision which I didn't realise was so bad without a comparison.

From 1st appointment to operation day and aftercare information cannot fault them. I would only suggest, if it’s possible, that someone in operating theatre speaks to you while the procedure is being completed.

From reception to actual operation found the staff friendly and very helpful especially explaining every stage of the procedure both at assessment and later with the operation. Would certainly recommend Spa Medica.

My experience at Spa Medica was thoroughly satisfactory. All the staff from reception to checking were pleasant, helpful and quietly efficient. Thank you all very much and I hope I will have the pleasure of receiving treatment on the other eye in due course.

pre-assessment staff very caring giving you as much information as possible staff the day of the surgery excellent and caring as I was very nervous reception staff excellent also the building was very clean. also, I noticed that the Domestics worked very hard making sure it kept that way

I attended for a cataract operation and was greeted with a friendly welcome and put at ease. The medical staff were all very reassuring and attentive before, during and after the operation.

my huge thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff for their care and attention. i was put at ease throughout my visit, questions were answered and some laughs were had. this is the ''cheese to the chalk'' (compared to mainstream hospitals), such a relaxing, clean place. very efficient, i have spread the word to family and friends should they need cataract operations. the skill of the surgeon was good and the treatment painless. this has, all in all, been a very positive experience now i can see!! so once again thank you all for your kindness and depth of care. i have to revisit to have my other eye done and i have no qualms about your excellent service, thank you, molly daniels-tipping. p.s. the free coffee and tea is a good idea.
