Second cataract op completed An excellent all round experience Extremely pleasant and professional from start to finish . I would like to recommend this practice to anyone needing this procedure .

I was in the clinic for maximum suggested time All the nurses and reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were told there had been some computer issue while we were waiting The surgeon appeared harassed and I was surprised that some issue with the patient before me was mentioned. Being quite nervous myself this was not helpful The nurse doing my discharge indicated that the post op procedure required by this surgeon was slightly different from norm Again slightly unnerving? I did not feel inclined to query anything at the time.

Very good experience. Felt at ease all through both procedures. Staff brilliant. Each step explained clearly. Both eyes operated on within month. Couldn't fault anything.

Had my cataract surgery was nervous but made to feel very at ease by the staff. Nothing was to much trouble and everything was explained thoroughly so felt very comfortable and at ease. Thank you to the staff from the surgeon down fantastic people

Had first cataract removal only four days after pre-assessment- both visits impressed greatly with extremely efficient but smiling, pleasant and caring staff from surgeon down. The building is modern, airy and spotless has car parking

After years of tests with my original optician who kept saying my cataracts weren’t ready for surgery and my knowing my eyes weren’t getting any better I decided to get a second opinion on 9/10/23 my very first eye test with a new optician I was told I needed the cataracts removed as soon as possible they referred me to Sparmedica in my home town of Gateshead.on the 10/10/23 I received a phone call to go for an assessment on the 13/10/23 after the assessment I was given the 18/10/23 for an operation . I was a bit apprehensive at first the staff were amazing and very efficient everything was explained in detail . The results from day one are absolutely fantastic you don’t actually realise who bad your sight was until you compare it to your other eye .my colour vision has improved 100% and my reading is nearly 20/20 . I have this new flu at that moment and so have had to cancel my second operation twice because of the cough , but really looking forward to when I can have the second operation . ( 80 year old female senior citizen )

Had cataract surgery on both eyes,found the service provided very professional and carried out with efficient and friendly manner, have had no problems since.
