Well planned, polite and friendly, impressive nursing and surgical care. I have had surgery on both eyes in the past six months, the first at Stockton on Tees and both hospitals performed extremely well

From start to finish, the staff at NHS SpaMedica were professional and reassuring. Everything was explained carefully to me and the treatment was very promptly delivered.

Excellent service all the staff were kind and professional very efficient I was called in after a cancellation only in for just over 1 hour

Everyone I have come in contact with has been so nice kind and really felt looked after Had my operation yesterday, I felt like I was in safe hands all the way through. The security man was lovely from welcoming me in to saying goodbye You can be there a while, but you are warned and you can clearly see why, they are so busy so bare this in mind, and be kind they are working so hard

I attended Spamedica at Team Valley yesterday for my 2nd cataract op. The surgeon was lovely as were all the staff. This was also my experience when having my first cataract removed. Everything was fully explained to me, procedure only took few minutes.

Spa Medica is a comfortable and clean environment. The staff are efficient and caring and I was told what would happen at each stage. This was very reassuring. The surgery was very effective and I can see. Great! I still need the second eye treated but I am not worried about this at all. Thank you.

The whole process from initial consultation to surgery was seamless easy and nothing for anyone to be concerned about. The team were friendly professional and reassuring during the process. Very glad I done it.

On arrival there was a friendly welcome from both receptionists and nursing professionals. I was also offered a cup of coffee to revive me when I felt dizzy after the operation..The overall impression is one of competence and professionalism. The place is clean and orderly and asking questions is something you feel able to do as the staff are approachable. Also there are letters of reminder and telephone calls to make sure you know what is going on. If I were to have another cataract operation I would definitely recommend Spamedica. I spoke to various patients in the waiting room who all expressed similar views of being put at ease. This is particularly important when dealing with elderly patients.

The whole procedure was seamless. Once I had been assessed I was given a date for surgery. Contact was made by a nurse after my initial appointment and again a day or so before surgery. Great coffee at both appointments. Surgeon and all the staff put me at my ease and although there was a little wait before the op all was very well handled. Cannot recommend highly enough.
