Spotlessly clean, stress-free visit for first eye cataract op. Pre- surgery information very good- what it said in the book is what happened. Of course delighted with the result particularly as I could drive after just two days. My eyesight was just legal and now it is even more legal. Cannot thank the surgeon, nurses and reception staff enough

Very professional. Staff kept you informed at every step and explaining the procedure of the process from start to finish. Surgeon explained what he was doing at every stage. I felt a bit daunted at the thought of someone operating on my eye but the procedure was not painful at the least. At the end my eye was a bit uncomfortable and was only like you had scratched your eye.

I had my second cataract operation on Sunday, 9th October at Spa Medica, Gateshead. Just like the first, I was very impressed with the service I received. From the moment I walked in the door, a cheery greeting and offer of a drink and biscuit. At each stage in the process everyone was very friendly and fully explained everything that was happening. The whole atmosphere was relaxed and calming - all designed, I am sure, to make us, the patients feel at ease and confident that all would be well and calming our inner fears. Once again 5 Gold Stars.

All staff were very efficient and very caring. I was very impressed how the dr was. He was very friendly and put me at my ease as any medical procedure makes most people nervous. The staff made me a coffee and all through the time I was there I knew exactly what and when my operation would be taking place. It was the most efficient time I had spent at any medical hospital/clinic. Well done to all the staff.

From entering the clinic to leaving everyone was friendly and helpful. They were so patient with my Dad who has Alzheimer's and was quite anxious. They answered all of the questions and concerns I had and allowed me to stay with him right up to him going into the surgery theatre. Thank you
