Great practice, lovely staff I was well looked after. I arrived and greeted by a lovely gentleman at the door who took my details and showed me to correct department. I was well looked after my surgery.

The facilities and staff were excellent and I cannot fault ant aspect of this. However my relative's procedure could not go ahead due a recent heart operation. Considering that everything is now digital and patient's records and medical history are for all to see, I feel that the relevant agencies need better communication with each other to prevent a wasted journey. When booking this procedure in, it should have been evident at the onset that it would not have been possible for the procedure to commence before a specific date. A very basic and frustrating error that could have been so easily avoided. Like to say, staff and facilities are excellent - bureaucracy and attention to other details - medical history need to be addressed. Thanks

From beginning to end I have nothing but the utmost praise for the hospital, staff and service. The greeting on the door is warm and welcoming and everyone we dealt with from there was helpful and patient and did their very best to put a very anxious lady at her ease. The assessment appointment was very thorough with everything explained clearly and precisely so that I knew exactly what to expect on the day itself. Surgery day was over and done in 90 minutes, I couldn’t believe how quick it was, especially the operation itself which was less than 10 minutes! I was dreading everything about it but there was absolutely no need, it turned out to be a very pleasant experience. My sincere thanks to all involved

From the warm friendly greeting at the door ,to the competence and care of all in theatre I was made to feel relaxed. A great feat indeed for one as nervous as I. Spotlessly clean . Highly recommend to anyone requiring cataracts removed.

From the greeting by the gentlemen on the entrance through the pre op and operation everyone was welcoming very professional and efficient. Just over a week after pre op I was given a surgery date and that took place with equally professional attention. I am very sensitive to pain my threshold is low and though I felt some pain during the operation which seemed to be very quick that pain was soon relieved and there was no after headache associated with my op meaning painkillers were and have not been required even now almost a week later. I do feel very sensitive still to the eye drops I have been prescribed and feel I may defer my second eye treatment for a short time. I also need diabetic retinopathy screening in a few weeks which also will influence this decision. However I cannot in any way fault the treatment I have already received. Thank you all at Spamedica.

I had my cataract surgery at Spa Medica Haydock. From being diagnosed to surgery took 12 days, would have only been 10 days but I couldn’t make the first date. The staff were so helpful and made you feel at ease straight From pre op to post op, the information was first class, nothing was too much trouble I’ve had both eyes down now with Spa Medica and have all the confidence that your experience will be as positive as mine was

I recently had cataract surgery at SpaMedica Haydock and was extremely impressed with the first class facilities and excellent patient experience. I was greeted warmly on arrival and escorted to the correct department where I was offered refreshments. The whole procedure was friendly and professional and I was kept informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone thinking of cataract surgery.
