From entering SpaMedica to leaving I cannot criticise any detail whatsoever. The staff were very welcoming and proficient and continually questioned everyone's welfare in the waiting room. The surgeon was also excellent in every way. Would have no qualms in returning to or recommending SpaMedica.

I attended recently for an operation and the first thing you notice is how welcoming and friendly everyone is. Everyone I spoke to was so lovely and really made me feel at ease and comfortable. It is run very efficiently and I didn't have to wait very long. The operation itself was done with care and was very quick and painless and I felt comfortable and not nervous at all throughout. For anyone reading this who has never been before and is nervous you have no need to be. This place is very friendly and professional and you will be looked after from the start.

Plenty of room to park & you are greeted at the door & directed to where you need to be. Waiting time is minimal, with drinks & biscuits freely available. The place was immaculately clean & tidy. Everything seemed very efficient at each stage. My operation took minutes, with minimal fuss. I do have a few little things I wasn't totally happy about. I was in the waitingroom before my operation for an hour & a half & got freezing cold. The room in-between that & the operating theatre was even colder, so I couldn't relax during the operation. While in the waiting room you could hear everything the people after you said to the nurse & likewise in the smaller room. You could hear everything the surgeon & nurses said to the patient. In theatre I would have liked to have had things explained as things happened ie. The blue cloth that goes over your face was put on without warning & ripped off without warning. I felt I could have done with someone there to reassure me & tell me what was happening to me. I did not realise that you could have a sedative until afterwards, so will be asking about that for my 2nd operation. It wasnt a bad experience, but when things are not in your control it can be a little scary. These are some things that could be improved in my opinion.

I attended the practice on friday 8th november to have cataract surgery . The treatment i received was absolutely brilliant from walking through the door to leaving approx 2 hours later .Unfortunately after about a week there was not enough eye drops to last the 3 weeks they had been prescribed for .However having contacting the clinic i was prescribed extra drops which i picked up that afternoon. Overall wonderful service from very professional staff

Can’t praise this establishment highly enough! Easy to find and plenty of parking spaces. From referral to having my operation was just a matter of weeks. Only wish they could do my other eye sooner as the sight ( in one eye anyway) hasn't been as good as it is now for a very long while! Thank you .

I found their service for cataracts speedy, efficient, pleasant with every move, clearly and patiently explained. The surgeon had very clear instructions. Thank you to everyone including the welcome at the door and I now have lovely clear eye sight

I only leave home for appointments and I and my carer were totally treat like royalty from the men at the doors ,reception and all the medical team and surgeons it was really nice both times . Thank you .
