I recently had my right cataract removed at spa medica I can’t be more delighted with my surgery. I had my left eye done in 2023 and now my right eye I now have my vision back properly for the first time in 5 years Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your fantastic care and skill I can never thank you enough for my eye sight being returned to me

I had my first cataract op on 6th December 2024, I was very anxious on arrival as I was afraid of the unknown, I was made to feel at ease on arrival but was immediately offered an octopus, this is for children who are anxious but I was given one which I took to theatre, it’s like a stress ball to squeeze, a nurse held my hand too during the procedure, I can honestly say it was nothing at all to worry about, I had my second procedure on Feb14 th 2025 on Valentines day , I was again nervous but was out at ease again and looked after during the procedure, the surgeon and staff are second to none, they are all so caring. A lovely gesture was that all patients were given a red rose as we left to celebrate Valentine’s Day , I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Spa Medica at Willerby , Hull. My eyesight amazing, I can see for miles, I will however need glasses to read still. Thank you everyone for making the experience made easier.

I had my cataract surgery and was nervous about the unknown. I was incredibly well looked after for the whole journey, everything was explained and was put at ease. All the staff were lovely and will have no concerns when I have my second cataract done. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I visited spamedica twice, having both eyes operated on. Both times I was treated efficiently. There is a wait after booking in and before surgery as the nurse explained, something put in the eye had to have time to dissolve before surgery. Cant praise the staff enough. I was a bit sceptical before my first appointment, even after speaking to a friend who had recently had his done. I am so glad I was recommended to spamedica for the surgery, I have a new lease of life. I can see again without the use of glasses. Fabulous.

I was quite anxious about having a cataract removed especially in not having much information about the procedure. Throughout the process I was kept informed about the procedures and all staff were very willing to answer all queries. Post operative instructions were also very clear and precise as to what and not to do for specific times.

I escorted my 90 year old father during appointments and surgery. Very welcoming, informative, friendly, helpful and well organised from arriving to leaving. Our only issue was the lack of suitable seating for my father who had difficulty sitting and getting up from the chairs provided

I am very happy with the service I received. The staff are always courteous and happy to help . I felt no pain during the operation and again the staff were happy which helped . I shall be back for my second eye done .

this was my second visit to the clinic for treatment on my right eye, from start to finish the staff and medical people were very polite,caring and reassured you throughout the treatment. Would not hesitate to recommend this practice and would have no concerns if i needed to visit in the future. Thankyou for your care.

From entering SpaMedica to leaving I cannot criticise any detail whatsoever. The staff were very welcoming and proficient and continually questioned everyone's welfare in the waiting room. The surgeon was also excellent in every way. Would have no qualms in returning to or recommending SpaMedica.
