From being greeted warmly at the door to the friendly professionalism of the consultant who performed the op, I felt like I was really at the centre of things as a patient here.I particularly appreciated the explanation of what was happening at the painless procedure of removing the cataract. My only criticism is that I would have liked this sort of explanation during the pre-op eye testing - which I actually found more stressful than the op. Couldn’t fault any other aspect of it however

The staff at both the pre op and surgery were very kind and efficient and the service was both professional and caring. Highly recommended.

I attended this clinic for cataract surgery and was quite apprehensive. All the staff were very professional, but at the same time very friendly. Each stage of the process was fully eplained before the start of each procedure. The surgeon explained everything that was going to happen, and this continued throughout the operstion. The whole process was painless, and I have no worries about getting my second eye done. Thank you all

Had my first cataract surgery on 22nd December which was faultless from the moment I arrived until I left. Every member of staff was very caring and friendly which created a very relaxing environment with everyone putting me at ease. Nothing was too much trouble and each step of the process was clearly explained. I cannot praise everyone enough and their standards should be the basic service patients receive throughout the NHS.

You are made to feel very relaxed. You get a very warm welcome. Also everything is explained to you before the surgery &they are asking if your okay while the procedure is being done .

I've had cataract surgery on both eyes. The results more than exceed my expectations! I am thrilled. The sheer joy of seeing everything in focus and in glorious technicolour is wonderful. Both operations went smoothly. Many thanks to al involved.

Everyone from being greeted at the door with the offer of a drink and biscuits to the surgeon was friendly, caring and extremely efficient. Day after the operation and result already very good.

A procedure, which could be traumatic for anyone, was managed sensitively and meticulously from start to finish. I would have no concerns about returning to have my other eye treated if necessary.

Friendly staff, put at ease ,treatment explained at every stage. Only problem was that surgeon arrived late and it took quite a while for patients to be informed of delay. Eventually this did happen....but need to keep patients up to date as they have relatives/ friends expecting to collect them within the 3hr time slot. On saying that everything was clean and professional. Thank you all staff of Spamedica Kendal.
