The cleanliness of everything in this practice was perfect including the waiting rooms, the surgery’s,nurses office, everywhere was spotless All staff were so helpful during your wait, having your procedures and afterwards Everyone I speak to who have used this facility are of the same reaction

I had a definite fear of the unknown. But with the care and patience of everyone there my what I thought would be a terrifyingly experience was made so much easier. Many thanks won't be too afraid when I have the second eye done 😀

I was extremely worried at the prospect of eye surgery. My worries we’re completely unfounded. The clinic was excellent, all the staff could not have done more to elleviate worries. They were all kind and understanding from reception to completion. What a wonderful facility.

Due to a communication slip-up, a few of us came to our assessment day expecting to have the operation and not knowing about the pre-op. There had been no email nor paperwork, just a text as reminder. The info booklet came afterwards. The phone number did not let us get through either. But all staff did a brilliant job on the op day itself!!

From start 18-04-23 at the opticians to the second eye being done on 28-06-23. That is fast! The staff were all brilliant. Had occasion to telephone for advice and they arranged an unscheduled appointment for 8 days time. Wasn't anything serious thankfully. The care they show and the friendliness is exemplary. Never having experience of Cataract surgery before, I was nervous and somewhat scared. I didn't need to be. The staff doing the surgery on the first eye were brilliant. I never felt a thing and was in and out in no time. The second eye wasn't as pleasant an experience with the surgeon being rather brusque but you can't have it all. Would I use Spamedica again? Absolutely and recommend anyone considering having cataract surgery to consider using them. Thank you Spamedica and the NHS.

Every aspect of the experience from initial referral to final discharge was all one could wish for. Everyone was friendly, cheerful and reassuring. The clinic itself was spotless and peaceful. Good explanations were provided at each stage and it was easy to have confidence in the treatment The procedure was fairly quick and as comfortable as could be expected under the circumstances. I have enjoyed a great improvement in my eyesight within a very short time after first contact.
