I visited the hospital for cataract surgery and from the moment you are welcomed at reception, you are treated with the utmost care and professionalism. They took great care to explain the forthcoming procedures and made you feel like an individual receiving the highest level of professional care. The entire experience was faultless and I can't thank all the staff enough for their efforts. The whole experience first class.

My experience of having my cataracts done , Was nothing like I expected I was very nervous .But due to the extremely professional and friendly staff which put me at ease. It all went very well. I was extremely impressed. could not ask for better treatment ,All the staff are very professional , I came across very caring. Plus The whole place smelt and looked very clean which goes along way. I would not be nervous about going there again.

I have just had my second cataract removed in two months. The entire experience, on each occasion, was amazing. All staff were welcoming, pleasant, kind, understanding, patient and thorough. I could not have asked for more.. Thank you Newark Spa Medica.

SpaMedica, Newark was first rate from start to finish of my treatment. The staff were friendly and thoroughly professional in everything they did. I was thoroughly briefed on the nature of my operation and, consequently felt confident that the procedure would go well. I was nor disappointed. Thank you SpaMedica.

From the beginning to the end the service I received was superb. Staff were warm, caring and understanding. What an accolade for the NHS. Every member of that team deserve an award for their patience and understanding of a patients nerves. Well done SpaMedica Newark

I had both eyes done four weeks apart. Everything went very well except order management. For my first visit three people were operated on before me despite having later appointments because the patient boards got shuffled. For my second visit again three patients with later appointments were processed ahead of me. Nobody spoke to me for one hour after I arrived. Despite this I was very pleased with the actual operation.
