The perils of driving in snow and ice were highlighted on my journey to the clinic. During my journey to the clinic we encountered extreme weather conditions. At one stage we were towed up an icy road by a friendly Range Rover driver. We also made an alternate route to avoid snow drifts. The Spa Medica driver got us to the clinic save and sound, two hours late. We were welcomed into the building immediately and the medical procedures commenced. Well done! to all those concerned.

I have been lucky to have had 2 cataract operations at this practice. Any anxiety I had before my first operation was dispelled by the staff who kindly put my mind at ease. The care given to me by the consultants during the procedure was excellent and has resulted in my vision being greatly improved. A total success as I now only wear glasses for reading. All the staff are kind, considerate and knowledgeable. You have changed my life and I am very grateful, thank you

This was my 2nd Catarach operation and like in December the staff could not do more for you and made you feel relaxed.From start to follow up after 2 weeks was so professional and even though many patients attend some staff still acknowledged you . Good morning and how are you was frequent and genuine and I would recommend to anyone the Newcastle under Lyme facility

I had my first cataract operation at the end of January. From the pre-op appointment onwards everything was carefully explained. I had a condition in my eye which could have led to complications during the operation. This was explained to me and the consultant was reassuring during the operation saying that everything had gone well. The procedure is completely pain free. Everyone says this but you are never quite sure, it really is true! I would highly recommend Spa Medica, they are professional, efficient, and treat you like a human being. All if the staff are lovely and I am looking forward to my second cataract being treated very soon. Thank you Spa Medica.

From the time I came to the hospital to when I had my surgery was 1 week. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The surgery was quick and painless. I would recommend SpaMedica. I would definitely go back for my other cateract

I recently had eye surgery at Spa Medica and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. All of the staff were outstanding and the results have been incredible. I would highly recommend Spa Medica to anyone.

Waiting list short Check in efficient Reminder message Excellent op and support The two appointments were close together which helped to “get the job done”. Both ops were carried out in a very modern theatre, staffed by efficient and pleasant nursing staff. My vision is remarkably clear after the ops and colours are much brighter. I will need “reading glasses “ but that is no different as I will go for vari focal lenses. Overall I was delighted with the outcome of the operations and have no hesitation in recommending Spa medica

Absolutely fantastic experience, right through reception to the procedure. All staff made me feel well looked after and at ease with everything going on. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone and can't speak highly enough of the kind and professional nature of all the staff working here.

My girlfriend had an appointment today at 4pm. They rang 5 times between 830 and 130pm asking me to come earlier, she said she was working until 2pm and would be there. She rushed 5 miles home and met her boyfriend and rushed the 6 miles there, arriving at 240pm to find it all closed. They cancelled the appointment on the NHS app and now she has no referral. Shocking.

The whole experience was amazing. The staff were brilliant. I was worried about attending due to not knowing what to expect, however the staff put me at ease. I was at the clinic for roughly two hours.
