From the moment you step in the door at Spa Medica you receive a warm welcome which immediately relaxes you. Everyone so friendly and reassuring. The whole process was quick, efficient but with a very personal touch to it. Thank you to everyone at Spa Medica.

I gather that the Long Hanborough site had only just started operating. All was very straightforward but there was some sort of administrative problem with the follow up appointment. That was delegated to a local optician who had some concerns over a scan. Something went wrong between SpaMedica and the optician until I chased several months later. I then had another scan at Long Hanborough which was clear. With those minor reservations, I can recommend the team at Long Hanborough. For straight forward cataracts, it seems to be excellent.

From the greetings upon arrival by the porter, to reception to the eye testers, nurse & Ophthalmologist Spa Medical delivered a friendly, caring, efficient & knowledgeable service. 5 stars from me.

I was referred for the initial appointment in April - and within 10 weeks had cataract surgery on both eyes, from someone who hates all things medical it was painless. The staff are very professional but so kind, nothing is to much trouble. Hot drinks are readily available. State of the art premises and amble parking.

Appointment was on time and ran fluently. Staff were all very friendly helpful and accommodating. They went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable The coffee machine was a lovely idea but I was told they didn’t have decaf anything Disappointing as I was looking forward to it after surgery
